Euro bro’s in retrospect maybe we shouldn’t have declared financial war against the country supplying us with 99.99999998% of all our resources at below market price.

The rhetoric war is one thing, but actually arming and supplying the opposition was quite another. I'm surprised Putin didn't do much. Maybe Russia really is a shithole and he has no options

doesn't seem like he needs to do much, europe is bleeding itself out at this point

Europe is a literal mutt vassal. Of course they will bite the hand that heats them.

well, what could he do? this ukraine conflict is straining russia enough as it is. With that said ,retaliation is coming, just wait for the cold to show up.

Europe is undoubtedly going to be suffering this winter , im lucky we heat our house primarily with firewood and we got a 3 year stockpile. Also im in sweden so things are a bit better here than in for example germany.

still, ive been saying for months exactly what youre saying. We shouldnt have gotten involved in any way here. We need their energy, and that is simply it.

strong dollar isnt good for america, I hope you actually know that. Its dogshit for business.
The empire will fail by melting upwards, not downwards. Go read up on what happened in the 1980s in america and go look at the historical prices of the DXY then.

It’s not the dollar that’s strong it’s the euro that’s crashing to zero in all currency pairs

I hope the situation becomes unbearable so we have to rely on Russia. Fuck Ukraine

>> No.51595079

>>51594741
No, it's a different situation because the US sources it's nat gas (and energy more generally) domestically now, unlike in the 1980s.

In the same way that German industry could still be competitive with a (relatively) strong Euro thanks to cheap Russian natgas, American industry can still be competitive with a strong dollar thanks to the abundance of cheap domestic gas.

>> No.51595129

>>51595079
Oh, and same goes for things like agricultural produce due to access to cheap fertilisers and transportation.
