i dont think loss of volume is the issue for CZ. MEXC implemented an off chain burn and they gained volume. i think the proposed off chain tax is too high, it ought to be set to a lower number like 0.4% or 0.2%

I'm not well versed enough to comment on the liquidity aspect of it. As far as TR goes, they were never in charge of the burn or black/white listing wallets. Their goal was always to restore governance/staking to start the revival, then focus on swaps, re-peg, and bringing utility back on chain. Vegas is a 3rd party non-dev who came up with the idea of the burn and it was a good kick start to reducing supply so the devs ran with it. That being said they're not going out of their way to do more burn tax stuff when swaps/re-peg is more important for the longevity and revival of lunc, as well as will burn more than the tax ever could. Plus it's a lot of coding to boot, and they volunteer so it's better if their hard worked efforts go towards that
