Buy and hold dividend stocks that will go up, like KO, or AXP if you want to buy and hold. Or if you really believe a stock will go up without a dividend, do that too. Nothing wrong, as long as you did your research.

How would you go about dividing up separate portfolios? Obviously putting all your dividend payers in a personal is pointless, but if you put them all in a retirement account wouldn’t you be penalized for early withdrawals if you (hypothetically) amassed up an absurd enough amount to live off of?

i made the mistake of having to many portfolios.
Your literally setting up a separate account.
messy for tax purposes.
I feel you should start with one separate for divvies,
because in theory your not swinging them and it is best not to mush up the Short term & long term Profit and Losses. - plus wash trading.

Some solid recommendations itt. Curious, what's the main risk with these covered calls ENTs? Seems like solid yields even if the share price plummeted further. Also, is a 10% annual return pretty decent or should I be aiming higher?

Only thing I would add here are some REITS that are getting raped. Some 10+% yields on things like ABR. This 5% shit ain’t gonna work and in 20 years real estate will be fine so just compound this massively higher yield. REIT gotta pay it all out as well or lose its tax status as a REIT. Buy boomer property, medical for boomer retirement
