I've used them all pretty much and fantom is cheapest fees and best performance. Solana is cheap and fast but it goes down too much. Ftm unironically blows avax out of the water. I own both avax and ftm btw since i lp both.

Fantom is great, but unfortunately bad news really compounds in a bear market and we've had a LOT of bad news. The foundation I think has all hands on deck for doing the FVM. Feel like they've been dangling FUSD for a while and it's frustrating...but sometimes no news is good news. I've heard a lot of different penny stock investors run into similar things because they work the same thing, and you're basically just hoping they aren't wasting the seed money. From what I've seen fantom has done awesome things, and I think more things are in the pipeline that will be great. The reality is that it's a developer friendly ecosystem with an EVM and so long as ETH is a shit show I think there's a lot of room. So personally I'm just gonna chill and hope things don't get much worse in the global economy. (Wishful thinking). But I doubt we see ecosystem incentives for a while which means we're gonna lose some projects to ETH and Optimism I think.

That being said, I do recommend taking a look at SolidlyETH. The oxdao guys have basically rewrote the entire thing (a fork of concept if you will) that doesn't have immutable contracts. It's basically what solidly could have been if Andre hadn't thrown a tantrum. It's getting interesting too because Solidex (who got the keys to the project and the twitter) are throwing a tantrum despite the platform being broke, solidex being broke, and it just being a dead project with no updates. Read through the medium and to me, they demonstrate all the problems and why they needed fix. Radio silence from solidex. Sorry to sound like a shill, not like it matters, but worth jumping on if you got some cash
