Wow, I've always wanted to live in a house that was built during WW1 so I could live out my fantasy of leaving my wife for a future of getting pegged by my superior officer and a probable death

>> No.51463362

>built in 1915
>boarded up windows
>no jobs
it was a meth lab and the inside is going to cost 70k just to renovate it.

there's better deals if you are willing to live that remotely. but most people with actual
>200k, remote
will opt to live somewhere nicer

>probably lacks basic utilities or access to the grid
>if does have them probably have to replace all the pipes
>looks like it would fall over if a moderate gust hits it, typical american shack, requires big renovations to improve frame
>old as fuck, shit isolation, meaning that during the summer you have to crank the AC way high up and during the winter you waste a fuckload of money on heating
>lacks quick access to public roads, seems like is in bumfuck nowhere 30 minutes away from the nearest supermarket
Nice affordable homes you got there america, my 4.5 room apartment in Switzerland 1 minute away from the city and central train station was only 300k + 120k for renovations.

Vintage homes are great. They have lead windows that can’t be made legally anymore and insulate your home better.
