I've spent my entire birthday in the hospital with my only friend irl, he had to have surgery on his back.
Couple of my family told me I'm a really good friend for it. Really? Seems the least I could do, known the dude 24 years. Being there for him feels better than any silly party or whatever ever could anyway.

I got rid of my relationship of 5 years last week, it went to a point of no return.
