Regarding maples they seem pretty great, have several tubes of them and while I haven't poked through all of them the ones I've looked at haven't had any issues. I think it shows that more gold goes into bullion than silver does. Something like 9 times as much silver has been mined than gold, yet stacking about 4:3 silver:gold is the stacker ratio. It also shows there's a shitload more silver out there that hasn't been turned into bullion. Assuming the return on bullion would be higher to processors than industry (people pay more for 50% jewelry and bullion combined), it means there just isn't the demand for silver bullion. If/when Comex decides it's time to restock, I'd guess the stuff will be available. Industry used gold far more sparingly?
I'm banking that the future is brighter for gold - it's in the best interests for countries that have gold to see its price go up, thus bolstering their fiat value.

I know we are mining silver at a deficit right now more is bought up by industry than is mined so i think silver will become a bit more scares down the road.
