same. got any popular male english first names? or popular english last names, for first.last.eth subdomain potential?

ens is just non-stop bullish news, but the most recent shark tank dude picking up a 3D

and sothebys is looking into ens - which means they're buying because ens is unfuddable. and they're buying digits because digits are king and always will be

All these OG clubs are gonna do well. Personally I don't buy emojis because I just can't really get into it despite thinking they're gonna do well, but I don't hate on them. My bickering is about a lot of these newer clubs that are just poopoo desu. Crypto markets are in some ways incredibly inefficient, every time something does well immediately 1000 copycats are created whose only justification to exist is that the original pumped which creates a lot of dilution. We're gonna need much more fractionalisation of good names to cope with the demand.

I think so. 5Ds are still within reasonable area and arguably the biggest upside is the low renewal fees that 3D and 4D don't have while still not totally losing out on the basic value proposal of short-numbered wallet addresses. Personally I don't like anything above 5D desu, not because you can't make money off of them short-term but because I don't see that much real value in them.
>is ens.vision safe?
For listings they use the same contracts as opensea because those are heavily audited and basically if opensea fucks up then it's over anyway. Other than that there's the same concerns you'd find anywhere else, there's never a 100% safety guarantee in crypto that's the price you pay for being early.

3/4/5D's are all nearly100% safe imo. for 6/7/8D's they need to be extremely sexy imo - no random garbage(like 888444.eth)

these are the bluechips of ens, as long as ens and eth continues to grow, these will 100% appreciate in value over 6mo periods. dips are always for buying, never even consider selling your digits when they inevitably go through periods of low volume

ens will become the #1 nft in the market by marketcap, which is roughly a 15-20x from these prices

6D has value. If a coin had a max supply of 1,000,000 how many would you buy? Going above 21,000,000 would be a stretch and since you can't cut off the 8D club it might not stop until 99,999,999. Eventually the market will decide where the value ends.

Yea maybe in a mass-adoption scenario it's actually worth more than reg but I think with digits you can only go so far until people would rather have sam39.eth for reg than 591652.eth for a premium. Value declines very sharply the higher you go with digits you can't even compare a 3/4D with a 6D or 7D by simply calculating comparative price/supply. Coin metaphor doesn't work either I can make a shitcoin with 10 supply and the only value of it is it can be transferred like every other shitcoin, 6+Ds lose too much of the readability, simplicity and flex value that other Ds have. In ENS you can technically have unlimited names, the scope is not just digits, you're competing with literally every other possible character combination. If you make money from your 6+Ds buy actually decent names and stop registering, unless you're cashing out the goal should always be to move upwards to higher quality categories.

0% fren, time to look for alternatives, but you already knew that in the back of your mind hopefully.

It's interesting to think about ENS like the memecoin casino but we are very far away from something like that. Generally people don't actually bid because of events like this, like at all. Shitcoin casino is different because you can buy any fraction of coins, there are other holders which will shill it and there's liquidity. In ENS it's only you holding a name that nobody really cares about because nobody else has a stake in it and in order to have a stake in it they have to pay to be put into your old unfavourable position. It would be funny to see that change in the far future though since the shitcoin casino is very word oriented it would almost make more sense to buy a fractionalised ENS than a coin.

Agree. Some 6D combos can be very astatically pleasing but overall it seems like 5D is the best because of the renewal cost. There will probably be a small set of 6D/7D combos that do well. People are mainly going to be looking for short cool looking names and many will just try to copy their email.

Total newfag to ENS but these generals appear to have a +1SD IQ compared to the rest, so I'm pretty much sold. For now, I've targeted some 5Ds which have numerical significance in Asian cultures - does this seem like a good idea and what would you say a good price for one is.

>> No.51406165

>>51405976
The chinese love numbers from what I've heard, so yea in principal that's a good idea but you're not alone in targeting those. It's hard to tell you a good price, just have a basic research routine of checking the general 5D floor price on ens.vision, comparable historic sales in ENS and traditional domains (might find an exact match there), looking up the number on google, social media etc. Ultimately you'll have to get a feel for it yourself especially on how significant the numbers really are but those are the basics.

>>51406465
Yes and I heard there are more planned for KuCoin and even some other exchange, the KuCoin one sold out basically instantly. It's not nearly enough to stop the dilution coming from people who are priced out, we also need some good words in there. Technically anyone can do fractionalisation but it's useless if nobody knows about it.

I guess the seller didn't lose, they made a very good profit. But I definitely think they could have gotten a lot more, if you know about this very niche market I'd say things like professions, skin color, and gender plays a very big role.
Look at recent sells and you'll see what people pay a premium for.
