Honestly athletes as NPCs, or distributed athlete management for passive income generation, is a billion dollar idea that I've had in my backpocket for years. Use smart contracts to negotiate salaries on behalf of your favorite athletes and receive a fraction of their payouts, performance bonuses, etc. Something capped at maybe like 10%, but it also gives real people incentive to step in and help the meatheads not get screwed during CBA by their respective leagues or their individual managers.
