I think it's up today because the DXY is down, which is happening because the European Central Bank just committed to a 75bp hike while US markets are pricing in speculation that lower CPI data tomorrow could change the Fed's action for the September meeting from a planned 75bp hike down to 50bp. So I guess stocks and PMs will continue to rally in the short term until the Fed's meeting confirms a 75bp hike and we see a reversal of these current gains. I'm pretty retarded and bad at timing the markets though so feel free to tell me why this take is nonsense.
