I just turned 30 and my parents have aggressively insinuating that want me out of the house soon. I recently just lost my job due to a decline in mental and physical health and am in the process of going on gibs since I'd qualify. My dad just dropped the ball on me the other night and it's stressing me the fuck out. When things were going well health wise and I was working and had a career I could see the case that maybe it was time to move out and start my life but now I've basically hit rock bottom I'm left out to dry. I've only got $100k to my name which is all invested in BTC and have been living off savings ever since losing my job. I'm probably not in any shape at the moment to work and probably couldn't get a job in my field if I tried (job openings are weak). What the fuck do I do /biz/

Fuck off, faggot.

I'm living in my car and just saving every dime until houses come down significantly. There are still places in the country you can get a home for under $100k for a single guy, especially if you've got gibs to cover the monthly expenses afterward. i'd be in a place in the midwest somewhere if i i had 100k.

i've got a 24 hour gym membership through medicare, between eating healthier to save money and exercising, my shits are pretty predictable, and i'm always within a few miles of my gym or the library for shitting/PC access.
>heat
well the advantage of being in your car is having the ability to choose where you want to go. in my case i went to washington state where it's pretty mild weather wise all year around. realistically you'd only want to do this until you could get into an assisted housing place where you pay a percentage of rent based on your income.
>carpill
honestly it's not the cheapest way to do it. gas/maintenance/insurance/safety/comfort all take a hit financially and mentally. if you're in a bad place mentally it's probably not a great idea

Dude that's only a single make-it stack of BTC, you can't sell that at the bottom of a bull market.

>>51386553
Chill OP, relax. It's 30 days MINIMUM to get evicted, so you have time and the clock doesn't start until they give you a legal eviction notice. Look for people near you looking for roommates and keep working on your gibs, and once you're on disability get Section 8 (housing gibs) too. Don't think about buying a house, just try to find a room for like a couple hundred a month and just sell sats a bit at a time until you get on gibs.

I don't own a computer anon, just a MacBook that I bought while I still had a job/everything was alright
>>51386721
are you working? I might look into working construction again through a family friend. They used to rent out a hotel room for the crew while on jobsite so that might cover me while I'm working and I could just live in my car in between jobs. I would definitely consider a better state for the summers I can't stand the heat.
Where do you park to sleep? I'm assuming no where too close to the city where you run the risk of being broken into/mugged while you sleep

I'm trying to relax just the situation is ass. It was almost like a switch was flipped and the people who have been my only support this year became my greatest source of stress. I don't know if I would ever want it to get to the point where the law has to be brought into it (I still respect my parents and wouldn't want to stress them out) but shits killing me inside
>>51386873

aren't gibs all based on income? as far as any of the agencies that have the power to approve are concerned, I've got $0 networth

That's generational wealth and none of the state's business that OP has it. As long as he doesn't declare it, he'll get his gibs (and as long as it's not on an exchange (not your keys not your crypto (nyknyc))).

>>51386930
Same shit happened to me, but while I was looking for work and not finding anything after graduating uni during the GFC fallout. I didn't have any crypto, though, so I got a military recruiter to tell my parents the military wouldn't take me if I was homeless, so they let me stay the year it took to get in. My parents really fucked me up mentally from that, since now I have major trust issues and paranoia, but they pretend it didn't happen. Just don't feel like you need to do anything drastic, but make plans to move out since your parents won't listen to reason (like that you're dealing with mental health issues and working on gibs). Consider staying with family or friends, too, while you work on Section 8 or getting a room with someone looking for roommates.

Couple months short of 30, me.
Dad had said earlier that he would give me until 32-33 to make it after that I'm on my own.
But recently i get NEETshamed whenever dad has some bad day at business.
A few months ago he had left me at some ultrarich friend's house in another city for me to become a big guy too. But i threw a fit and came back home because i felt like i didn't deserve the luxury. I wanted to make 1 million before 30. I don't think I will anymore.
