How do you all deal with depression?

I've been having a real tough time with life in general. Nothing negative is happening in my life and on the surface everything is well. A cool family, reliable and solid job, and strong crypto gains and I take good physical care of myself via good sleep, good diet, and exercise.

I feel that I am growing really bitter about everything. I don't have many friends since its hard for me to connect and depression leaves paralyzed most of the time. My perception of women is becoming grim. The truth is I know there is a lot of beauty in life. I've seen it before, but these days I feel so far away from those times, where I had cool friends and was dating women.

Can anyone relate?

Your diet probably isn’t as good as you think it is. I can pretty much guarantee it actually.

Maybe you should stop being sad. Contrary to popular belief happiness is completely fictitious and can be achieved simply by believing you are.

>not having friends
Everything else you mentioned, your succes, your job, your family

All of it is meaningless without friends OP, I think having people to share experiences with is one of the most important things

>I don't have many friends

There's your problem. As someone who was a normie for many years then decided to withdraw from everything I can tell you not having an active social life really does leave you in a worse off mood and more cynical the majority of the time. It really sucks that this is required to feel better but positive socializing gives our body a high on a chemical level. you can actually physically feel it if you are perceptive enough.

Sorry that was poor wording. *You don't have to achieve happiness through experiences or things.*
