while thats admirable, they're honestly taking advantage of you. beyond the fact that you have your masters, you majored in engineering. no way an art major should be making more than you, at least not the way i sees it

>Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering
>$60k/yr

I worked for a bit as an engineer and I fucking hated it. Being a draft monkey and placing receptacles in AutoCAD 40hrs/w is soul crushing.
My biggest issue was management though. The problem is that most of them had their houses paid off and they were pretty happy with $120k/yr they were making. In their mind anything approaching $100k/yr is a salary of a manager or a project engineer with 10+ yoe.

I took the coding pill and I am never going back. WFH and coding is way more fun and it pays much better.

How did you start coding?

I'm in cyber auditing and I hate the people in the industry, where do I start learning to code?

Some people are not cut out to fix real world problems. I sure it is more rewarding coding shitty mobile games.
