Doing returns at a big box retailer, this guy comes up to the counter with a 65" Samsung TV

>I'd like to return this.
>Great! Do you have the receipt?
> Well no, because I bought it at [Competitor.]
>Then you need to return it to [Competitor.]
>I tried that already, but they wouldn't take it because I broke it.

>How much does the six piece nugget meal come with?
I was asked this by more than one person. That’s why I quit McDonalds.

Retail work is stupid

I was in a Subway once, and the dude in front of me asks how big is the foot-long, and without missing a beat the girl serving snaps back "it's twelve inches" and the dude goes "oh, sounds good so!"

She was a saint, I had to choke back the laughter. I was on my lunch break from another retail chain, the dude came into my place about 90 minutes later but he didn't buy anything.
Shame, I would've loved to have heard his queries

I feel this lol. I work at a craft shop and people bring in Walmart and Hobby Lobby items like they didn’t notice they have the store on the tag.

Then I’m the asshole because I pointed this issue out

I work for a company that makes personalised photo books. We once had a customer complain because the video she placed in her book didnt play, we walked her through how to use a qr code but that wasnt right. She expected the video to play on paper like in Harry Potter

I work in a public school as a technology coordinator. My school is Title I, meaning we have a high number of students that qualify for free or reduced lunch and federal assistance. Our population is a lot of immigrants, many from Central America and Northern Africa. We have parents that have never had computer access and have never had an email address. When our school district tried to switch to exclusively to online registration and report cards a few years ago, we had to fight to get computer stations installed in our office because these families would have no access at home. We helped them create email addresses for the very first time, trained them how to use them, and helped them register their children for school.

It seems like a no brainer that everyone would have an email, but it just isn’t true. Even in one of the richest counties of the United States, we have an extreme digital divide that only has been addressed because of the pandemic. Since then we’ve provided iPads or laptops for all PK-12 students, free WiFi at home, or WiFi hotspots for those who don’t qualify for internet service for whatever reason. It’s shocking to see how many people need this kind of assistance.

making returns off an nft game is like flipping a coin, might be profit right now but could be the death of you tomorrow, be careful but enjoy the cash, might work for some people but not for me keke
