i have been feeling constantly depressed and suicidal these days. I lost all my gains, my girlfriend hates me, my dad is dying
everything is just so so stupidly difficult to do, and i feel so old even tho im only 27

I understand that no one ever has or probably ever will reach the popularity of Hulk Hogan. The man barely had to do anything and the crowd went ape shit. But... why? He had a lot of charisma, but so did a lot of other wrestlers at the time. He certainly wasn't the best wrestler of his time. He didn't even really have the best look IMO, he was chiseled but he was kind of an ugly dude. Why Hulk Hogan? Was he just in the right place at the right time when Vince decided he needed a new face of the company? Did fans even care about him before he beat the Iron Sheik? I'm sure some of the older fans on here can help me understand.
