Listen, (Shh) to what the flower people say

These are wholesale shops so they usually end up in the same area, so businesses or people doing weddings or whatever can come to 1 location to get all their flowers. The people who grow them like delivering to the same area as well if im not mistaken. Its like this in LA as well.

Here in Pittsburgh PA there is a few large wholesale flower shops in a small area so maybe that's a thing. Someone hires random bums to sell them at the busy intersections too.

small capitalists are almost braindead and hate each others guts. in germany you usually have 3 döner shops in throwing distance and then 1 km nothing. they think something like "if his shop works here it must be a good place". worst i have seen so far was barcelona, their whole economy is based on ripping off visitors. they have whole alleys where e.g. only barbers are.

They're selling to different groups of clients. potentially at different price points, at different delivery schedules. They're at the same place because flower delivery availability is not based on client locations, but on where there is a 'known' flower distribution center, easy truck access, nearby refrigeration repair people, etc.

It's why cities tend to pop up around ports and rail stations. There is more people and goods transit infrastructure. Pick a product and there will be places with more/better _______ infrastructure.

there is a street in my city with 2 edible arrangement stores. (edible “flower” arrangements)
i didn’t know they would have a market for 1 of these stores let alone 2 and same street.
