I trusted Kraken as a place to get XMR and BTC when I needed it. I always sent funds to my personal wallets immediately after purchase. Never directly to a market address. These fuckers held my deposit funds one time for about 7 days, not even a email to let me know why my funds were pending. 7 days go by, I hit up Support and they tell me they want more KYC. I went through the shitty process of taking awkward photos that were a pain in the ass to take, just for them to immediately shut my account down after submitting it and telling me they cannot disclose why.
