As someone that neeted before wage and after wage with and without money i can say for a fact that waging with people you like in a job you dont hate is better for confidence and sense of accomplishment then simply neeting even if you're rich, not to mention without money, neeting before waging when i only had enough cash for food and rent was just a lot of sitting/laying around consuming media/vidya and subtly seething i couldnt afford to do anything else, im a pretty create dude with a bunch of hobbies but everything costs money, i also ate pretty poorly due to cost.

Then came waging, felt like a boss in a good tech position i got based on skills alone and kept for 4y while developing cool shit and interacting with quality people, had way more money, but not everything was roses, theres stress from getting work done on time, the time sink was massive, didnt have time for any real hobbies unless i sacrificed sleep which i often did and at the end of the work day i just didnt have the energy for anything, ate better but not that great considering i was limited to whatever food places were around the office for lunch time, lotta seed oils and the like, after 4y of this my health went to shit and i just couldnt keep it up, felt like a 90yo.

Soon 30. Waged for a few years and made enough with my stinkylinky in 2017 to get a loan for a quadplex. Two of the apartments were nice, but cellar and penthouse was not converted to apartments yet. I finished the penthouse last year and currently work on the cellar (have to apply, get papers done etc before I can properly start). I quit my job last year and have been neeting for 12 months now and get neetbux while also earning rental income.

I made a deal with myself, every 6-8 months I sit down and write down goals for my next period. These are the goals I want to do, such as learning basic C, finishing a math course, hit 12% body fat, finish my last apartment, stick to my established diet, launch 2 businesses, read 15 min daily and so forth. I treat it as a NEET-contract. If I fail to uphold the agreement, I dont deserve to be my own man and waging is my penalty. I LOATHE waging so I have found this is the best way to stick to it. It also helps that I genuinely enjoy my life as it is, but the structure this system provides for me is necessary to keep me on my toes.

As for my plans for my 30s, when I finish this quadplex I will relocate to a warmer climate because the winter fucks me over every year (Scandinavia). It is miserable to live in a cold climate with reduced sunlight for 4-5 months a year. You fight yourself daily to get through this period, while when you live in a sunny temperate climate the momentum is easier to uphold. Its a nobrainer desu.

Start by taking a few days break from your computer so you can get away from all the stimuli and think clearly. Take some walks or something and think about what you really want out of life and what you can realistically achieve. Write it all down and think it through. Then use the internet to narrow it down further until you have a clear path ahead for the next 10 years. And then you start preparing for it. Not next month or next week, but that same week.

You are 22 and not even close to the point of no return. But the sooner you start fixing your life, the more of it you will get to enjoy while your body is still in great shape. And leave 4chan. My brother is still young. Only 23. Yet is already rotting in his youth.
He's at least social, if he's not playing vidya then he's out there partying, but on the days he isn't he just looks so pitiful.
Saw him playing that one marvel game on his PS4 the other day, while sitting on his bed and holding his controller, with a few chocolate wrappers next to him and his clothes scrambled everywhere

The worst part? His graduation isn't even guaranteed. He apparently finished college and we even threw a whole family party for him, and he smiled and took pictures and all that , but lo and behold, 12~ months later and he still hasn't revealed his grades and claims that the college is the one delaying it all
