They might not be the best for selling, but when it comes to buying Silver Proof sets are a pretty sweet deal right now. The coin shop happily sold it to me at the same price as basic worn US 90%, most coin shops hate these things since they take up a lot of space and don't move terribly often. Try offloading some from your dealer, you could get a good deal. Especially 2009, probably the best state quarter set to get at the moment since price is rising fast and it's in a FAT box.

As far as the set itself goes it's an alright year, Oregon and Minnesota are the clear standout designs and look great. West Virginia had the potential to be excellent but details are lacking. California has great details but the negative space is really awkward. Kansas is just absolute shit, the buffalo has almost no detail or depth and the design is really bland. It's probably the second worst state quarter yet. While they're only clad I really like the two Jefferson nickels, especially the "Ocean in view! O! The joy!" Lewis and Clark commemorative. Nothing fancy is done with the Sacagawea dollar this year. 6/10 set.

Got 6oz of silver and a smol 1/20oz gold coin for funsies and because I like the design. I've been stacking for a year now and this will bring me up to 50oz of silver and 1/5 oz of gold. Sup frens,
I'm only keeping you posted as i've seen zero coverage about something big who could be brewing for next month in the silver market. I don't wanna make you overdose on hopium, but here is the QRD from what i understood :
>50Moz breached in comex's registered vault
>1.1Moz left the vaults today alone (abnormally large)
>apparently there is an arbitrage opportunity between the LBMA spot and the COMEX spot making it more interesting to transfert to the LBMA (normally the prices are supposed to match)
>37.5Moz still standing for delivery for september still requested (only ONE day left before first notice)
>out of desperation the comex's kikes just hiked the premium for standing cancellation (they are paying you an extra $500/contract -$100/comex bar- if you delay your delivery request down to december
>current price dumping could be the banksters bracing for impact : the lower the spot, the cheaper it will be for them to settle down in cash once they default on deliveries by next week

So basically we could be witnessing the start of the bidding war over the REAL ownership of what's left in the vaults, and the comex is desperate for you to not withdraw, showering you with USD if you accept to leave it there. Which is really telling about how they can't touch the eligible part.
If the traders still stand for delivery by tomorrow midnight, there will only be 12Moz left in the banksters vaults. At this point this is effective default unless they manage to somehow borrow a shit ton of silver to replenish their stocks.
But even so, the panic could very well make it irrelevant and force the CME Group into cash settlement, as described in their (((users' terms))).

Oh and they also hiked up the new members fees by +$2k. They probably don't want any more smartasses from WSS with some cash in hands to get the opportunity to buy a SLV contract and ask for delivery at spot.

tl,dr : Comex's default could happen tomorrow and the kikes are shitting their pants.

usually i interrupt people or think that i know more, but i shut up and listen here when youre talking about gold if im not trolling or trying to extract more info. but it (being quiet and listening) seems to be less effective, and im not even more liked!
like if we were all together in real life, putting out our own info we have, on our own things like metals etc., then we could have all of the factors wed need to consider for our own things. to go into things more informed, with all of the variables considered, as everyone has had a chance to speak (about their favorite thing). but i dont know if its more helpful this way

if i could only say one thing i would say "you know" "its like we are all sat together putting input in from our own specialties, but not using it enough to consider every aspect from the markets!". i think thats where the power is

Look up European Sovereigns on SilverGoldBull. Wait for them to be in stock. Their premiums are typically very low. They have no numismatic potential, but they're well-recognized, interesting, and affordable ($350-370 range).

Technically it shouldn't even be possible to go below 20 bux, because this is the average extraction costs for primary silver miners this year...
So now i don't even assume anything is impossible in clownworld. I'm mentally ready to wake up every morning to silver being at $1 as well as $1000.

there is literally zero chance of that happening

the cost to produce silver is around $3.90 per ounce currently. Yes three dollars and ninety cents per ounce of silver. All in sustaining cost is just under $11/oz yes eleven dollars an ounce and they can produce silver and stay in business indefinitely doing to. Add a little bit for minting and fair value self sustaining production cost of one ounce silver coins is twelve dollars give or take.

silver is nice, so is gold. I live gold more personally. I want to buy more, I own more than most people here but lets be realistic. Silver and gold is massively overvalued on a production cost basis currently. has been for years. its hyped via fearmongering and bought out of tradition, supply and demand is the name of the game. it is a hard store of value but it has a real cost of production that can be quantified, they arent making more land but the ARE making more gold and silver.

in a scenario where silver went to 5000$+ an iPhone would be worth a billion dollars or something absurd like that. owning a house would make you a trillionaire.

There is absolutely no scenario in shich gold and silver outperform traditional investments in and appreciable way aside from a total financial collapse and then their value is in the fact that they are traditional money that can be easily moved outside the banking system.

Do not thin k you will get rich owning metals, nobody ever has and nobody ever will. They are a cool hobby, fun to collect and a backup plan. Get your other shit in order too.

No, you are just lying. You pick the only exception to the rule, then you magically transform a $8 into $2 because why not, hoping we wont read the entire report lol.
The truth is out of the 6 biggest silver producers, the median AISC is at $17.50/oz, 4 of them are over $19/oz and only one is below 10, the one you conveniently picked.
And of course it's not accounting for the dozens of little operations/miners who are most likely deep in the red at the current spot + oil price.

I'm thinking it's probably going to perform just fine.

While often underappreciated, brazing and soldering
alloys used an impressive 47.7 million ounces (Moz)
of silver in 2021, representing 9.3 percent of the total
industrial demand for silver last year. Silver’s use in
these sectors is forecast to rise 23 percent to 58.8 Moz
by 2030, according to a Market Trend Report, Silver in
Brazing and Solder Alloy Materials, published in June
by the Silver Institute.
Over the last decade, nearly a half-billion ounces of
silver have been consumed in brazing and soldering,
which are centuries-old ways of joining metals together.
Brazing and soldering each use different temperatures
and are used in dissimilar applications. In general,
soldering uses lower temperatures and is used in
electrical, jewelry and other lighter weight applications.
Brazing is done at higher temperatures and is most
often used to join heavier materials like pipes.
The report notes that the main growth in silver’s use
in these applications will come from “future global
infrastructure growth, including increasing plumbing
and pipe joining, strong vehicle demand (both internal
combustion engine and electric vehicles).” Increased
demand will also come from the electronics market,
heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

the cans are all disappeared - the base case for this is that the council are stealing from me
and i have stacked more cans up near to their building, but ive now done it this time in a different spot

the strangest thing is that it does actually work. people see it and put their rubbish to the pile, helping to reduce "ugly" waste. there are other piles where it has worked, too. and if there were 40 (?) cans before, there were only 3 today; fractions less than the waste there was these numbers are an estimate though!
for example,
there is one person whom drinks a die jack daniels and coke every day (from a can), and he drops it there on his walk. the person has started to put his cans on the pile though and now on his usual stretch where he did it on the path. its curring down waste on the individual scale, and the scales

It would be true if shitcoins were real assets. But they are not. They are useless and worthless. They are limitless. They don't cost anything to produce and aren't productive either. And the markets' controllers already owned the vast majority of them from the get-go.
They have no others purpose than to be dumped on retailers after an inorganic mania financed by the whales. Once their only function achieved (syphoning money from retards), they are of no use to the market controllers.

Meanwhile, real tangible assets are the complete opposite of this. This is why big money is always fudding PMs (that they need to keep low to maintain the illusion of abundance and not break the statu quo of financial parasitism vs real productivism), while always shilling fake digital assets who are endless/limitless, immediately spawned from the aether and worthless by definition.

Once the world wakes up to the scam of endless fake digital assets (shitcoins, bonds, stocks, fiat, derivatives,...) and the scarcity of real tangible assets, the biggest transfert of wealth ever will occur.
To be more accurate, it will be fake wealth destruction + revalorisation of real wealth.

Enjoy being on the wrong side of history, yet again.

Does this actually work or not lads? I'm not planning to smuggle a bunch of gold through an airport but I'm curious if you just had like a dozen 1oz gold coins in a large wallet in with some other coins whether or not they'd be able to pick it up.

I know you can use jewellery but just sticking to coins would be easier than dealing with that noise.

Krautnigger here.
Have no real knowledge of investment yet only some surface level shit. But I know fiat is trash and withe current inflation my few cash reserves I have will soon be worth jackshit. Already figured out that silver should be the best investment in times like these.
So here come a few questions.
1. Is it better to buy coins or barrens? Why? Any tips on which specific coins could increase their value substantially?
2. The silver price is really low right now right? How long should it stay like that?
3. Best shops to buy from for a kraut?
I want to invest around 4000 euros right now.
Please answer a pathetic noob like me

Should I buy 55 1oz coins, or maybe 1kg gold bar + coins

What's the best place to store this gold, I was thinking an underground safe in my house.

do you guys carry gold on you?

Other than an inflation hedge what are good reasons for holding gold. My thinking was that in case I somehow lose access to all my other investments and money- that I'll atleast have some physical gold on me I can quickly sell so I can buy a shotgun and blow my brains out

Prices are determined by supply and demand, not production costs. Skyrocketing demand will cause prices to spike regardless of production costs. In fact, you can have production costs fall due to increased production efficiencies while prices rise. The only time production costs come into play in pricing is as a hard floor if prices drop. If prices drop to near production costs, then production may cease. Production VOLUME will increase in response to price increases, and ultimately put the brakes on price increases as supply catches up with demand. But that is only true if there are no limits on production volume. In the case of PMs, there are strict natural limits on production volume, so a spike in demand absolutely will result in a spike in prices without any regard to production costs.

Those are dangerous if you have cats around. The mice get dehydrated from the poison and come out of their dwellings, where they're easy prey for cats. The poison in the mouse is then digested by the cat and can make them really sick, harm them neurologically, or even kill them. I learned this the hard way. Don't use poison if you have a cat.

Of course they do. The ASE is an anomaly in terms of premium pricing. Generic 10 and 100oz bars have among the lowest premiums because they are the most illiquid in terms of barter, and they generally follow the spot price with little change in premium, similar to 40% kennedy's, 35% war nickels, random percentage foreign coinage, and sterling scrap.
