what happened yesterday is a pivot point for both AVAX and Polygon since they are (or used to be) competitors

literally no companies in or out of the crypto space will ever trust Ava Labs ever again. No one will be willing to collaborate with them cause no company would ever want to smear their own name, that and the fact that you simply cant trust Ava Labs.

Polygon on the other hand has been a force to be reckoned with these past couple of months especially when it comes to business development.
They have collabs with companies like Facebook, Coca Cola, Stripe, Disney, Bentley and many many more.

I really don't think Polygon and Avalanche will ever be considered in the same league ever again after the leaks that surfaced yesterday

Cope harder, Rapesh. It's going to zero. Polygon (Ticker: MATIC) is a jeet scam-coin straight from the shit-stained streets of New Delhi. If you bought this coin, sell now or enjoy getting gang-raped by Rankesh and Vikram while your life savings are drained through the Aravali range of Eastern Rajasthan.

You should never, and I repeat, NEVER trust ANYTHING these disgusting poo-skins create. They're dirty, smell terrible, have no hygiene, are black, have feminine voices and always act like faggots. Like, you can tell they're dirty fucks with probably some extremely disgusting fetishes and depraved minds, that has to be true considering their disgusting appearance and behaviour. They live in terrible conditions, shit in beaches and streets, eat unsanitary food that looks like sewer water from the same streets they shit on. Let's also not forget how many Indians live by stealing money from the elderly of rich, white countries, and flex their shit stained rupees attached to their brown, horrid skin. I hate them.

But please, go ahead and use AVAX's superior open source technology. my personal advise for you is to sell your AVAX and buy some MATIC instead. Polygon has the superior technology, the funding and building teams that AVAX lacks so badly

>crash
never, 100% uptime since the minting bug. Not even a sign of congestion.
>$14 gas fee spike
The devs admitted the gas fee algorithm was too volatile and overly aggressive so they smoothed it out and lowered it a week after complaints.
The gas fee is primarily to discourage state bloat. This is probably an alien concept to you jeets because MATIC doesn't care about state bloat since your chain is centralized on a few servers. Also your gas fee physically could not go above $1 simply because your chain congested and crashed before your useless gas fee algo could do its job. The way they went about it... they should have honestly just set gas to zero and let the crashing and congestion moderate TPS. It would have basically been the same result.

Back to AVAX. Since the implementation of subnets TPS has to increased far past previous TPS ATH while keeping gas fees around a penny, so scaling has essentially been solved and AVAX can now horizontally scale infinitely while maintaining the fastest finality times and highest degree of decentralization. Comparatively Polyjeet will continue to have garbage finality times and the lowest degree of decentralization. Also regular 40+ block reorgs which the devs never fixed, gave up on fixing and just buried their heads in the sand. Your entire project is based on prayers to Vishnu that somehow Sandeep will pull magical ZK-Snark tech out of his ass which all respectable cryptographers have been saying they aren't even close to solving. Expect ETH 2.0 levels of delays and cockteasing. Seriously, you guys are holding the next ADA basically except it has a centralized soon-to-hacked sidechain gimmick.

>so basically still happened
minting bug was 2 years ago and gas fee spikes were before subnets. Both were fixed quickly and without much fanfare. They are long dead bugs and the only reason you jeets still bring them up because you have literally no other valid criticism of AVAX because none of you fuckers even knows how a blockchain works.

>>51169769
>avalanche is centralized because devs are employed by a single company
the avalanche network is distributed between 1400+ validators and you need at least 32+ colluding validators to get 51% control of the network. All updates that the devs prepare are optional and validators can tell their nodes to do whatever the fuck they want. If the validators don't like the ava labs code, then they can use code from other devs. Or even write their own code, I mean it's their validator. When enough validators decide to do this together, we call this a fork. Right now validator consensus is, unsurprisingly, that Ava labs devs write the best code for their Avalanche validators. However consensus can change easily and quickly. We've seen it happen with BTC multiple times and ETH with ETC fork.

It's the same exact situation with BTC and Blockstream. All the core devs are employed by Blockstream, but Blockstream does not control BTC because miners get to run whatever code they want. If the miners don't like the devs, they can use other dev's code. That's exactly why BSV and BCH exist despite Blockstream having a monopoly on core devs. It's entirely miner/validator consensus based, as it should be.

a powerful enough quantum computer can crack SHA-256 meaning it can hack every BTC wallet in existence and steal your internet money. We are 20+ years away from anything like that. Caveats are that I lied and SHA-256 is still really hard to crack even for powerful quantum computers. QCs would start by cracking weaker encryption years before it could be used to crack SHA-256, so that gives everyone a few years to fix the issue. Also it's relatively easy to switch BTC wallets over to quantum proof encryption, but inactive wallets like Satoshi's could not be moved over to the new encryption because you need access to the wallet in order to move it. So all inactive wallets would be burned in a migration over to QBTC (Quantum BTC). Quantum proof encryption protocols, tons of it already exists, has existed since the 90s, computationally almost identical to our classic CPUs. I'd estimate it would take a few weeks to port BTC over to the new encryption and then a year long grace period where you can let people transfer their BTC over to QBTC. Could be less then a year, but it doesn't really matter since QC development is slow and not clandestine.

But who knows, maybe aliens start fucking with our wallets using their quantum computers. I guarantee they have good QCs assuming aliens exist in the first place. Luckily quantum-proof encryption would stand up to alien hackers so maybe that is the real usecase for QANX. Alien proof encryption.

>> No.51172561

>>51172507
>computationally almost identical to our classic CPUs
that was a little ambiguous, I mean to say that the CPUs we have now (classic computers) would not treat quantum-proof encryption very similarly to the encryption we use now. It's not that different in the eyes of a classic computer.
Now for QCs it's a total deal breaker though since QCs are super picky about the types of algorithms they can solve in quantum-time(aka really fucking fast). QCs only speed up a tiny subset of all possible computer algorithms, however the speed gains on those algorithms is absolutely unreal. QCs are essentially "hacking the matrix", exploiting quantum mechanics to do things that Allah clearly never intended.
