SOL. It's no where near perfect and has a lot of hurdles to overcome but it's the only chain that makes ETH maxi's sweat. They hate that it can scale without breaking compatibility and that it doesn't need its liquidity spread among X different L2s to function. It's also has the 2nd largest dev pool outside of ETH and it's rate of change in regards to gaining devs is the highest. It sees the most usage out of any L1 and will be used for payments which something only LTC can really claim in this space.

Are you sure about that because obviously from this chart, certain distinctive features set certain privacy projects apart. In my opinion, all privacy focused projects have their individual peculiarities and should be appreciated. Focus should rather be on utilities and scalability of privacy across board for all crypto users to use.

Old or not, privacy projects in general should be appreciated That's the main point. Although, some projects have certain features that make them more secure or even better to use than the others. I'm personally all for trustless and permissionless protocols with zero custodial risks.
