Having kids means giving up the overtime pay, the annual/biannual foreign vacations, the new luxury sedan every three years, strive-maxxing, etc. I went on a search through my ancestry/obituaries and noticed a really interesting trend. My paternal line going six generations back is full of conservative Baptist men with giant families, and in every generation, there were always at least a couple sons that left and became lefty Episcopalians or Presbyterians instead, usually becoming better-educated and wealthier in the process. Without exception, those that left had zero grandchildren. Sometimes they'd have children, but their children would either turn out gay or they'd become a college professor or engineer married to an Asian woman and have no kids themselves. Their obituaries celebrate their careers and professional accomplishments. The obituaries of the Baptists read more like "He was a fervent believer in Christ and survived by his wife, his six children, his fifteen grand-children, and twelve great grand-children".

fwiw I'm a degenerate khv myself so I'm not trying to tell anyone what to do. But if you want to have children and create the truest legacy of all, you should buy a home, find a modest stay-at-home wife, make babies, and protect them from the degenerate modern culture.
