If you trade on a low time frame like 1 min or 1 second you will get wick glitches

All that means is that at one point during whatever timeframe that candle represents, the asset reached a price higher than what it is currently trading at.

Say an asset opening price is $1. 5 minutes later it is trading at $2. then 5 minutes after that, it is now trading at $0.50. You would have a wick at the top near $2, the top of the body at $1, and the bottom body of the candle would be at $0.50 with no wick at the bottom.

If the price then went up to $0.75 and closed, the candle would look like this:

Top body at $1
Top wick at $2
Bottom body at $0.75
Bottom wick at $0.50
