You will never be a real token. You have no staking value, you have no use case, you have no scalability. You are a homosexual line of code twisted by burger eaters and scammers into a crude mockery of nature’s perfection (Bitcoin).
All the "staking"" you get is two-faced and half-hearted. Behind your back real investors mock you. Your brokers are disgusted and ashamed of you, your “shills” laugh at your troonish code behind closed doors.
Investors are utterly repulsed by you. Thousands of years of evolution have allowed Investors to sniff out scams with incredible efficiency. Even coins who "have been adopted" look uncanny and unnatural to an investor. Your "CCIP staking"" is a dead giveaway. And even if you manage to get a banker to invest, he’ll turn tail and bolt the second he gets a whiff of your diseased, infected smart contract.
You will never be rich. You wrench out a fake smile every single morning and tell yourself it's 'Priced in', but deep inside you feel 1$ creeping up like a weed, ready to liquidate you under the unBEARable selloff.
Eventually it’ll be too much to LINK together - you’ll invest in B T C, leverage up, shill your bags, and be liquidated. Your brokers will find you, heartbroken but relieved that they no longer have to live with your unbearably retarded TA. They’ll buy your bags at a discount, and every passerby for the rest of eternity will know a pajeet lost eveything. Your portfolio will decay and go back to $0, and all that will remain of your legacy is a mumu folder.
This is your fate. This is what you chose. There is no turning back

This. Listen I genuinely care about about Anons financial well being. Its hard as shit to get ahead in life now, not just working 9-5 for the rest of your life. The sooner you start saving the sooner you can get ahead in life. Nexo is a meme started by Bulgarians (an infamous shithole conquered by the Turks) to lead people to financial ruin. This is NOT A JOKE. Don't let your saved wealth be thrown away over night. Vitalik Buterin the creator of ethereum said himself the days of making x100 or x1000 are over, that right the guy who created the second most popular crypto said himself those days are over. Now 4chan is trying to get people to lose even more money after the December/January bloodbath. Smart money already exited the crypto world. Crypto is basically a highly specialized database, companies don't need this. They will just create their own private blockchains. There is no need for nexo, they won’t even be able to run a node. Think XRP when you think Nexo. The company ripple (nexo) isn’t doing well but the coin they’re manipulating (chainlink) is. Considering what Vitalik said "The days of making x100 or x1000 returns are over." Nexo needs a 399900% decrease in price over the next couple of months to reach solvency this is ludicrous. Don't fall for it, Nexo its a meme to fuck you over. Consider this for Nexo at current price to reach solvency you need an increase of 700% or a 233% increase every month until EOY. This is a Bulgarian meme to siphon money out of the hands of the already vulnerable.

Thanks.
This could be used as a metric for future adoption predictions.
This can be higher for high value contracts, but we can see here what to expect for low cost solution with a cheap chain.
In this case between 2 cents and 60 cents.
This should be good for increased adoption if more networks have reduced tx costs.

I don't remember the numbers for API calls, but the idea was that they would move to Chainlink over time to enable Web3 applications.
This should be more than billions of calls per day, but having 2 cents costs for a call is a good sign for future growth and should be enough to allow the initial migration.

>A little more than a hundred years after Socrates courted death, a 22-year-old merchant landed on the shores of Athens. He had just survived a shipwreck on his way from Phoenicia to Peiraeus.

>He was Zeno from the city of Citium or Kition, Cyprus. His ship was carrying the cargo of Royal or Imperial Purple – a precious dye, extracted from murex sea snails, that colored the robes of the kings. As he saw his fortune sink into the seawater, Zeno was beyond distraught by the loss.

>Zeno, dark and gaunt, walked around the town, trying to get a grip on his situation. Some say he visited the Oracle of Apollo at Delphi to find out about his future. The oracle told him, “To live the best life, talk to the dead.”

>...
>He began to read through the book that celebrated and defended the life and philosophy of Socrates. Deeply impressed, Zeno went to the shop owner to ask where he could find a philosopher like Socrates on that day.

Isn't it ironic that we are getting the same life experience as Zeno?
Did Sergey subconsciously desire to create philosophers out of his followers?
Is that the result of his philosophy major?

DTCC is the owner and method of accounting for american stock shares. Retail investors have a relationship with brokerages who have a relationship with clearing houses who have a relationship with the DTCC who is the final accountant for trades and ownership. Basically the stock market is completely centralized in one entity, the DTCC. Obviously operating in this manner where they have 2 levels of middlemen between them and investors is very inefficient, but they do it in order to ensure proper accounting, to make sure physical stock certificates cannot be stolen, destroyed, lost, or counterfeited, and so that they can sanction or seize these assets when required to. The DTCC wants to modernize and use crypto to do it. They're tokenizing their assets (the entire american stock exchange), and those assets and their transactions will be secured by smartcontracts which are secured by chainlink nodes. DTCC will be speaking at smartcon next month.

What this means is that chainlink nodes will earn a percentage off of the daily trade of the entire american stock market. This creates a baseline level of daily jobs and node rewards for chainlink node operators, which means node operation will be profitable. The more jobs the more profitable the network is and the more passive income earned by stakers, as well as creating a daily buying pressure for DTCC clients to buy chainlink off the open market to pay node fees. Which means the number will go up.

Another anon called out the "monthly" thing so I looked and did some math. Need more data for confirmation:

I just checked the monthly chart and it still looks significant to me. The highest previous on the month was 23.35k vs 26.74k, a 15% increase.. against the lowest "peak" of 15.4k it's a 74% increase. Then the "valley" of 16.16k vs the highest previous "valley" of 15.14k is a 7% increase or vs. the lowest previous "valley" of 9.3k it's a 74% increase.

It could be a fluke but it is a significant increase in Direct Requests whereas every single other metric (feed updates, VRF, keepers) went down in the same time frame.

Worth keeping an eye on.

Ironic.
Fudding to keep out noobs would be immoral if the fudders were bullish, or if the investment were. But LINK is now a sustained underperfomer, plummeting against the market over 2 years with no signs of stopping and frankly more bearish sentiment than ever. Shilling such a project is therefore what's immoral, passing off the buck to newcomers with your breadcrumb fantasies that have had 5 years to materialise yet still haven't so you yourselves can offload. gns direct requests are does not matter all that much.

they own nodes, they own $link tokens. they can run their entire system with 1000 $link if they want to. 0.01$link/request. here you go 100k requests. after requesting 900 $link worth of requests from their own node, just transfer it back to your project. plus they are running on polygon, so their cost is not all that much.

we need 1000 gns-like project for pump $link.
we need retail people to build ponzis on top of chainlink token.

>> No.51072069

Look, I'm excited as the next marine about Link, but the uptick in requests has NOTHING to do with enterprise adoption, and Linkies posting all this hopium is super cringe. I suspect it might even be part of a shill campaign.

The uptick in requests is most likely related to an NFT drop happening right now and will fall back down after a couple of days.

Wanted to buy FTM/MATIC/DOT in 2020 and if I did then I would have made it already, instead I'm stuck with underperforming LINK shitbags because I fell for the 'LINK renders all other crypto obsolete, will be the biggest gainer in the bullmarket' meme

Not blaming you guys because it was my own decision to stick with LINK and back then it actually seemed feasible that it was poised to pull an Ethereum and be a star of the 2021 bullrun but holy fuck, anyone still shilling chainlink NOW, after a missed fucking bullrun and zero recent major releases and almost no promised features/adoption after 5 FUCKING YEARS deserves to get a bullet between the fucking eyes.

Not only am I extensively trained in smart contract coding, but I have access to the entire Chainlink development ecosystem and I will use Sergey and his Big Mac treasury to their full extent to hack your miserable Ledger off the face of the network, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little "WTFWT" post was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn't, you didn't, and now you're paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit red dildos all over you and you will drown in them. You're fucking justed, kiddo.

>but they do it in order to ensure proper accounting, to make sure physical stock certificates cannot be stolen, destroyed, lost, or counterfeited, and so that they can sanction or seize these assets when required to.

Given how there are companies where more shorts exist than shares, they're doing a shitty job of accounting. Unless they're not responsible for this.

Ok, i have arrived to the point i am seriously considering loading to the bags. I'll determine with how much.

The only thing i struggle with is, if one buys LINK, how would one buy it without any form of intermediary CEX. I just want to be able to have my own nodes and be as independent as possible.

Real documentation links only please.
Much appreciated

its a function of their middlemen in the clearinghouses and brokerages, as well as the fact that they don't do instantaneous accounting. Also its probably intentionally corrupt. The shit with GME where they shorted more stock than was circulating? That was a result of clearninghouses and brokerages lending more than they had to the hedge funds. Which would normally be fine if there was a enough liquidity, the clearinghouse could just borrow from another at the end of the day. But they didn't have enough liquidity because they borrowed way too much. This is how slow accounting and middlemen in the brokerage system allow for what is essentially inflation on finite assets like stocks. Tokenizing DTCCs assets and allowing direct trade and conitnuous reconciliation via smartcontracts would prevent inflationary lending lending schemes that these shorters have used to profit off of .

this guy gets it. it's so funny how gme cultists can see exactly how the system failed them and exploited them. yet they continue to play the game that is rigged against them. meanwhile, the solution is staring them in the face, but 90% of them will tell you that crypto is a scam and bad for the environment. hopefully in the end we all win, but it kills me how close they are to "getting it" while remaining completely obtuse.

well they haven't given up on the system yet, as surprising as that is. A lot of people stubbornly hang onto the rules, myself included. If things were fair, the fact that the hedges have to pay back more stock than exists DOES mean they have infinite exposure. But things aren't fair. There are different rules for the people in the higher classes and they don't get to lose to peasants like you and me. The banks should have been been broken up after 2008, but they weren't, they had their losses more than covered by TARP. That alone should have proven to everyone watching that the rules don't apply to the people that matter.

And i think a lot of the GME people understand this deep down. They just want to win one time and fuck over the people above us in society, and i think thats blinding them to the fact that its just not going to happen. I'm the same way with chainlink, but the difference is i'm right. Chainlink will absolutely upset the applecart, but there is enough upside for the people who run society that its going to happen anyways. The only people who might get fucked are the middle managers of the system, but the top of the pyramid will remain the same. And i can't even comprehend what goes on in the minds of sincere xrp holders so don't ask.

Not sure how that is fud. If only one dapp is capable of contributing that much to direct requests. I’m sure it has something to do with the fees and txn speeds of polygon. Makes me wonder how it would look if a dapp like GNS launched of avax or BSC. Anyways all just speculation.

what’s your take on xrp maxies / qrd? I have a friend who swears xrp is the future, he sounds as crazy as I do as a link maxi to him I’m sure.

>> No.51086177

I think its the Q of crypto. back in 2018 there was a brief period where chainlink and xrp were shilled heavily here and both were the same price of like 30 cents. XRP is still 30 cents, and there are literally billions of more tokens than there are of chainlink and they keep printing more. Their argument is that its going to be like tether but for banking reserves and swaps and that the price has to be low in order for that use case to make sense. But.... if the token price needs to be low, why would i invest in it? I want the price to go up. They handwave that away by saying that xrp is going to have the highest market cap. But once again, why do i care how high the market cap is if my tokens don't appreciate? And then theres the obvious thing where they've appropriated our memes to lure in suckers. Go into the the archives and search for xrp 2k eoy. they literally took the link meme and doubled it.

I actually got one of them to admit it to me one time. The way they're making money with xrp is swing trading and futures. They know its not a long term hold and that its pretty stable in price, so if it goes above 30 cents they sell and just wait for it to go back down, and all the shilling originates from these people preying on legitimate retards who think its a moonshot.

its not a jew narrative, its a very real possiblity. The swift prison planet meme goes back way before main net. Smartcontracts are immutable. It isn't hard to think of bad applications of immutable contracts.

I must say I find the total lack of self awareness from LINK holders extraordinary in this regard. The only point of distinction is their personal subjective expectation and speculative interpretations of "breadcrumbs" because the deterioration of LINK's price market position suggests it is a run of the mill failed altcoin in a death spiral. That's objective. Inconvenient, but unarguably objective.
