Fuck quiet quitting, that's too passive, you want to be actively looking for any opportunity to get the biggest return on the least amount of work.

For instance, I was once put in charge of a development project that would have completely automated my very cushy job, and I saw alarming signs that I was going to be let go once it was finished, so I fabricated requirements to make it look much more complicated than it actually was and generally misled the development team into making mistakes, which I then took back to leadership to convince them to cancel the project entirely. As insurance, I also snuck in a dead man's switch that would have cost the company tens of millions of dollars had they decided to proceed with the tool without me.

Nobody ever caught on to any of this. They just assumed my job was more complex and difficult than they first thought, and I became more respected, if anything.
