Price doesn't correlate with fundamentals in markets as irrational as this one.

Only in rational markets. For example, Shiba Inu had a supply of 589 trillion coins when it famously mooned 45 million %, its utterly bananas.

Trying? Nigga, adoption trends speak for themselves: Monero-only is the new standard for OPSEC-critical applications, even organized crime syndicates and Latin American narco cartels are jumping on the XMR bandwagon.

See, the thing is that the Monero-only standard is being pushed primarily by DNM admins and veteran privacy nerds, who by necessity have a background in OpSec/NetSec.

In other words, the de-Bitcoinization, that is, the Monerofication of the darknet and related sectors is being spearheaded by relevant professionals who have their freedom on the line, not low-level drug addicts who don't even know what day it is.

Darknet markets have a very small userbase to begin with and that's the only people really using Monero over any other crypto. Even though it overtakes Bitcoin for DNM transactions it's not enough to make a dent in comparison to Bitcoin and other chains which are use for legal purposes by millions more people. Even if Monero achieved 100% usage on DNM its price action would still be shit unless it started being used by normies for legitimate purposes. Which will never happen because it's already highly associated with illegal activities and massive normie-friendly exchanges won't list it until governments gives the thumbs up (which won't happen since governments hate privacy coins).
