im a turbomanlet. its making me miss out on business opportunities. for example i was orbiting around 2 people i know while they were talking about business and because i was orbiting they just began distancing themselves more and more. i am a pretty interesting and funny person (jester and intellect maxxing) but in the end i just walked off but now a couple months later they have a successful business raking in 5 figures... i couldve been apart of that and made money. i didnt think being a turbomanlet is this bad...

Basically this all the time.
This doesn’t even have to be a conscious behaviour.
They just somehow feel that being around you is not an environment benefitting their growth.
Then you start to somehow force strengthening your relationship with them and it will hurt you as they will go into a defence mode.

To convey that you are responsible person first you have to be responsible.
Then you gotta learn how to make people respect you. Joking is good for erasing barriers between people. When you do that you don’t have any ground for respect among your group. Ofc you can joke but you need to be in a certain position of power so this behaviour doesn’t trigger side effects.
One of the best ways to do that is just become /fit/. Not in a way where you’re overly pedantic about your looks but in a way where you show you are a hard worker and you are in control of your own body.
