It's not about money and the one day party, and if it is, you are going to have bigger issues down the line. It's about the 20,000 days after the wedding and making sure those aren't miserable.
The wife and I have around 3 BTC combined and we're just happy sticking with something that we feel is less risky long-term. I'm fine waiting 5-10 years and throwing more money at it as time goes on now that my other business investments are taken care of.
