Predicting flow and demand is very and import and the 200 DMA does influences a lot of flow.
The only technically indicators I like are these longer term moving averages(because everyone knows about them) and VWAP.

But here's the thing: SOXL retards think that the 200 DMA is pure signal. I'm not saying it's pure noise either, but it's mostly a mix of signal and noise like anything. Yet this retarded strategy uses that as the only heuristic for entering/exiting. So stupid.


If you want to be a gambling degen who trades 3x ETF's you can't just use simple regression lines. You need to look at how vol of the underlying ICE semis index and the SOXL product itself acts. If you want to find alpha/edge look Into quant tools.

vol term structure percentiles
taildex percentiles, vvix percentiles, vix - voli percentiles, etc... to gauge market risk.
And contango/backwardation percentiles as well.
The only TA you should look at Is DMA (due to buyers and sellers watching those levels carefully) BUT you need much more to generate some consistent alpha over longer time horizons.
Don't be a normal SOXL_tard. Look into some more heuristics beyond the SMA/DMA that the stupid, hastily conclusive, and poorly backtesting "Leveraged Rotation Strategy" advocates for. This is your money and you shouldn't be so assured that a strategy, which has been iteratively demonstrated to result in account blowups depending on the timeframe, can work so well.
