That volatility spike and run up in price let them collect a massive amount of premium, several times over. They also most likely played the calls on the way down like I did as that was a brain dead easy trade to collect Tesla levels of premium but manage risk with a cheap ass $12-$30 underlying. Now they are harvesting a volatility crush, once again making bank cycling options.
