You are being fleeced by bullion dealers, there is no shortage of silver. The myth about COMEX being short on silver is just a scare tactic by retailers into making you panic buy silver. COMEX spot price is the real price of silver, there is no manipulation or any kind of conspiracy by bullion banks to suppress the price of PMs.

The thing about silver is that there's more than 100x as much in the ground as there is gold (which is also worthless), and its "industrial uses" are massively overrated because copper outclasses it for any conceivable use.

The least expensive artsy bullion bar I can find offhand is $13.50/lb avdp for a 10 lb bar. Spot for Cu is about $3.60. So a $10/lb premium for non-scrap, presentable Cu is the lowest one can reasonably expect.

No. The truth is, that ending coal power plants for “alternative” sources of energy is whats really destroying the plant. Wind turbines for example, kill more birds (and thus destroy the areas ecosystem) then coal ever has. Solar panels? Getting the materials in them destroy the planet faster than any other source of electricity. We need more coal power plants. This will finally end the Western world’s reliance on shitskin’s oil and Russian gas. Bottom line is, end the nigger and build more coal power plants. Simple as.

You must be retarded. I’ll help. Pre-33 gold can carry very large premiums. They are highly desired in the US. Aside from the beauty and history (especially around the time of the gold rush), they have low supply while being in high demand. Yeah, I know those american eagles (all versions) cost more, but I'm not convinced about this premium business being worth it. Especially not if you live outside the US. Even in the US this premium might not hold up in the long run. You can buy today some britannias just a little over spot, and the dealer will buy them back for spot. There is no extra "boomer eagle premium" variable in this equation that leads to speculation. And I think that makes it a safer bet overall. Instead of paying those premiums, you just buy some more britannias or maples or such, using the money you saved from not paying those premiums.
Plus this premium feels a bit artificial. The early 20th century coins aren't really numismatics, I think you have to go a bit farther back for that kind of stuff. So it feels kind of artificial, like some boomers just decided to start writing "frosty mint" and such on coin packages, just to jack the price up. Well I'm just not buying it, mate. Especially since I'm primarily stacking to preserve my savings, so I don't tend to deviate much from the cheapest common options.
Pic is a coin that I'd say deserves a premium. Yeah, that makes sense in this case.

There's a lot of old coins that were minted before 1933, but you said that only the eagles are "worth" the premiums, but not euro or other coins. It's this kind of mentality that makes no sense to me. So it feels very one-sided and artificial, and makes me suspicious.
Also you say those coins are "in demand". By who exactly? A lot of people that buy gold just get bars desu. It's really the gold itself (and silver as well) that are in demand. Some of us buy government-minted coins for tax reasons, simple as. After that you have a much smaller market of coin collectors, and quite frankly I don't care what they think is "in demand" or not, because I'm not stacking based on their beliefs.

>> No.51018504

>>51018170
At that point its not even a premium, the price has no relation to the precious metals content. I am the owner of the coin you posted, and I paid $900 for it. I have a Byzantine gold piece that weighs a few grams, yet I paid $700 for it. Real numismatics is an entirely different field, those who try to attribute these kinds of valuations to modern coins (like that quack who paid $200 for a "magnum opus" silver eagle) are just kind of scummy.

You're talking to the autistic egg anon, who allegedly bought a monster box of American silver eagles relatively cheap in early 2020 and since at least March this year has been pumping his ASE bags, claiming that premiums would only just keep going up until tend of time and calling stackers stupid for buying generics because he won't accept them in trade for his eggs when muh SHTF happens. He has a few fair points but is generally a single-minded bore, pay no attention and just stack what you like.

See while this is true, you could also replace the labels with:

>human existence
>Blue - humans are filthy, unwashed savages living in pre-civilization Hunter gatherer familial tribes
>Red - humans have actual functioning societies with agriculture, trade, writing and technological progress.

And the overlap with the silver/fiat timeline would be about 90% accurate. Sad to say.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metals_of_antiquity

You make a good point but it’s not ironclad. We may very well have passed a civilizational milestone where we have “outgrown” silver. I hope and think not, but then I also see just how domesticated and conditioned mankind has become under Globohomo.

Sliced medallions pan fried in bacon grease with onions is a favorite breakfast. The colorful varieties I grew were Adirondack Red and Adirondack Blue, both are early maturing varieties that possess a richer flavor than normal potatoes; they taste like they contain extra vitamins and minerals and are also very pleasing to look at, I highly recommend growing some. Good luck fren, I'm sure you'll achieve that goal. I remember looking at houses and property for sale in 2011 when PMs were mooning and real estate was bottoming, nice little homes with big yards could be had for under 20k, just a few hundred ounces of silver then, and I made specific note of 2 rural properties for sale by owner where they advertised the price in dollars as well a better price in ounces of gold which periodically got crossed out and lowered until they hooked a buyer. I expect we'll see similar things in the next few years.
Anyway my dad learned gardening from an ancient neighbor lady when he was a kid and thereafter has always considered it a valuable and therapeutic skill so I picked it up from him. He has fertile acreage in the country with a huge garden, fruit orchard and nut trees maintained for the benefit of family and friends, I live near a spring fed creek in a normal neighborhood with normal size yard but have cultivated about as much of it as I can, and improved and cultivate the strip of land on the back side of my fence running along the alley too. It's not technically my land but the city doesn't seem to mind.

>getting bored with generic stacking and want to start getting a few numismatics because of reasons

Yep I hear ya. Numisfagging is a different beast than bullion stacking but if you position yourself right and hunt for deals it can be a gainful hobby. Buying numismatics from jew dealers like APMEX is dumping money down a hole but if you put yourself in the mindset of a dealer and figure out where and how to buy low then ya can't lose. I like my ancient coins and a good angle for getting deals is buying dirty coins for cleaning, a good example is my Pegasus stater at top to the left of the crab here. It was dark and dirty but I could tell a lovely coin lurked underneath, got it for $110 shipped then worked my magic. Compare with what a "Corinth stater" in similar condition and aesthetics sells for on eBay and the soundness of such investments is clear.

Very cute anime girl silver coins, anon! But your hand doesn't pass. I'm sorry. Try losing weight by fasting and using a hand cream with lanolin each night.

Checked (and checked) - I couldn't see any info.

And checked again.
Thanks - $150.
Note the different exposures, too. The exposure had to be really short for the bright surface at left, but very long (and not really long enough) for the super-black surface at right.
And that mummy really sticks out (use cyan/red glasses to see).

Regardless of a collapse or not, I will die knowing I have a hoard of wealth that I can look at and touch like the great merchants and kings who ruled this land before me, and that someone else will claim my treasure and be similarly pleased.

Retarded example, PMs with their history dating before the first written language and eternal function as an honest store of energy equivalent value are to traditional hetero men and women as fake fiat and vaporous crypto are to abominable mentally ill trannies and faggots like you. Try harder next time dumbass.

You are correct that it isn't astrology. I was being facetious. It is prophecy, which has exactly as much rational underpinning as astrology.
