Do you contribute at least 15% of your pay to a 401k each month /biz/?

I used to do it, but with where the world is heading I don’t actually have much belief that there will be such thing as a comfortable retirement when I’m able to access the retirement account. The way things are going I don’t even know if that shit will even be worth anything or if it will be around at all.

Only invest in USA. Everything is else is shit

401K is a good vehicle to put tax free monies that grow tax free. Problem is getting money out of it before retirement age.

I regret not getting into a Roth IRA sooner.

no, I have a 403b that doesn't let me allocate to anything but retarded ultra-conservative mutual funds and money market funds. at least my job does a flat 10% contribution w/o matching so I don't have to waste any of my money on it to get the benefit.
I do split around 40% of my pay between an IRA and my trading account though.

If you're lucky you'll be allow to access it (after tax) when you're 80.
