Frequently people are calling for whales manipulating the price, these whales aren't whales at all. They are traders working directly or indirectly with FTX.
The large part of CT big accounts trade on FTX or is involved with OTC trade provided by Alameda liquidity, wintermute wouldn't be wintermute if it wasn't for FTX providing them space to live.
Small traders are blinded by hope of getting rich. Those big accounts are all well connected wealthy early adopters and are all hunting small the fish in the tank.
FTX or Alameda are involved in:
Spoofing
Macro/Micro Manipulation
Pump and Dump (stg today)
Pooling and Churning
Ramping (liquidations hunting)
Painting the Tape
Bear Raiding (Celsius)
Market Cornering (with wbtc)
Insider Trading (Alameda is FTX)
Lure and Squeeze (Luna saga)

If you want some free bucks you just have to sue FTX, they will prevent the case to go to court with an agreement of paying the plaintiff, they already have done this multiple times, they see it as marketing expenditures.
