If you checked stonk-o-tracker yesterday, someone borrowed the last 500k shares available for shorting at 53% interest at midnight last night before the shit show that was today. Checking it now shows there are none available to short. About 1500-2000 etf were also used up to near emptiness, though this was likely a different party, and are now back around 2000 where they were a week ago. The massive amount of borrowed shorts were likely used yesterday to dump the price. Unfortunately stonk-o-tracker doesn't keep long term logs on available shorts, but this is literally the same behavior the gme experiences each runup every 3-4 months. Every time gme would dump 30%+, go check stonk-o-tracker and you could see the within the last 24 hours someone had borrowed all/nearly all shares for shorting no matter the premiums, before the price started cratering that day. My absolute favorite was when some giga-merchant did the shit in the middle of a trading day. Available shorts went from like 300k to 0 a couple hours before the price dumped and then the exact same amount of shares were back available for borrowing about an hour after the dump tapered off. Did the math and the profits were in the range of 100-200m before taxes, premiums, etc.

Secondly, unusual whales tweeted out that RC selling is bullshit though that is of questionable accuracy. What I found more interesting was one of the replies.
