The massive amount of borrowed shorts were likely used yesterday to dump the price. Every time gme would dump 30%+, go check stonk-o-tracker and you could see the within the last 24 hours someone had borrowed all/nearly all shares for shorting no matter the premiums, before the price started cratering that day. My absolute favorite was when some giga-merchant did the shit in the middle of a trading day. Available shorts went from like 300k to 0 a couple hours before the price dumped and then the exact same amount of shares were back available for borrowing about an hour after the dump tapered off.
