50952561 No.50952561 [Reply] [Original]

Who else has taken the time to observe that the whole razzmatazz surrounding the crypto space, especially when it comes to the price of certain alts is kind of calm and almost dead?

The bear market has its way of injecting humility into the space, Nobody is saying why and how they have a project that can make 1000000x, even the gaming projects, kek.

This shows that the value of DeFi was never in how much a token pumps, but how much utility they provide as a project in other to move us into a fully decentralized system. This is where most projects miss it, they lack valuable products.

For GameFi, the value will be how much fun users can get from playing and it depends on the story, graphics, community... I believe GameFi projects should focus more on these factors. This is why the traditional games still have relevance even though users don’t earn while playing.

So again, I think it’s time for projects to look back and know what time it is. For me, I think it’s time to build and add value to the space as a whole.

Big ups to the projects that have been deliberate about adding value, let’s shine the light on them this time.

The problem with GameFi is that they focus too much on the money aspect and too little on the fun.

That is true, exactly why I said traditional games are still doing better

Of course there should be the earning aspect, but maybe in a more subtle way without hindering the actual fun and competitiveness of the game

Most alts are down, BTC is still around the 23k mark and there are only few projects pumping. This is time to DCA, HODL, Stake and to allow projects with actual utility to keep building

Precisely what I said. A bear market is a builder's market afterall, like someone wise said

This isn't all that true for every project. There have been good ones like GALA, SAND, MANA and according to a CRO report it's going to be a growing market.

>>50953413
What do you mean by subtle way, pajeet. You either play to earn or you don't. yes, it can be more fun though,

Who said that

What report was this, anon. It definitely is a growing market but needs a lot of change.

I'll be honest, I can't remember who the fuck said that. Saw it on some crypto telegram group. Kek

agreed, better to stick with projects that survived the previous bear.

as for the report, I skimmed it too, does seem too extreme but I have been seeing projects with other use cases from way back in 2018 now entering GameFi, so provided the trend continues, it may be true

it's similar with most DeFi projects, if only they can focus on adding value, they'd have people engage them even in a dying market.

They not getting into GameFi, they only allowing GameFi projects to launch LM campaign using their Defi Terminal solution, this way they can make the games more interesting as players will be able to stake certain tokens to earn an in-game kind of token which will grant them access to some special features like better weapons, new modes/levels, etc.
