Things are really going to hell in China. The CCP has suspended English classes in the schools and made Xi's propaganda lessons mandatory viewing. This is an attempt to divert blame for the failing economy onto America and also to lay an ideological foundation for the coming economic collapse and authoritarian responses.

I have been excited about the prospect of the BRICS issuing a gold-backed trade currency. But if China is imploding, it may not happen.

So what does all of this mean for the PM market? I don't have a clue.

Dude wut? No idea what coins you're referring to but why don't you get 1oz £2 Britannias? The old ones are 958/1000 so weigh slightly more because of the copper, if that's what you're into. If you're that serious about precious metals, then what I've been telling you is how to get one if the standard channels are limited to you. It is clear that you shouldn't be here my padawan, but I'm not going to be a cunt about it because you clearly want to be on the precious metals ladder so I'm giving you advice on how to achieve it. There is little you can do but keep waiting, keep chasing, keep "escalating" the issue, and ultimately claiming on insurance.

The trick with customer service is 90% are sub 90 IQ retards, but occasionally you get a 110 IQ person who can actually do something. It's a numbers game, just keep trying.

If you end up having to order a 2nd gold coin, and end up paying more due to price fluctuation, claim the difference. Worst that can happen is they say know.

Couriers are in a race to the bottom. DHL are scum. I am putting my gold on my shrine and praying for you anon.

>> No.50942777

>>50942578
ok, you've used the term "premium" twice. let's go over this again. let's "unpack this", as they say on plebbit.

The premium, as an absolute number, is the difference between the spot price and the amount you pay:

> 24.26 - 16.67 = 7.59 <-- 7.59 is the premium

so how do you calculate the *premium percentage*? Answer = you calculated as a *percentage of the spot price*

> so (7.59 / 16.67) x 100 = 45.5 <-- this is the premium expressed as a percentage. The percentage of the spot price that gets added on to the spot.

Put it this way, if you removed the decimals and round off the numbers, you can see the premium/VAT on its own is £8, spot is £16 with the combination of them all is £24. It is clear that £8 of £24 is one third, nearly matching the 31.2% result I got. If it was nearly 50% of £24 then the spot price for silver would have to be £12. The ground formed a line that separated the date from the rest of the engraving, but when shortened, it looks like a dye that doesn’t fit the planchet. And the change in font for the numbers, it makes it look like a forgery.

The larger the bar the harder it will be to sell (obviously). I initially bought 1oz coins, but am starting to switch to larger bars like 10oz instead to lower premiums and still be easy to liquidate.

For gold, I stick to the cheapest sovereigns, gives some reassurance of authenticity and some have security features already (example, Britannia, Canadian leaf). The US gold coins have no security features, yet they have a higher premium, which makes no sense to me.

Because the Russian government is controlled opposition. This won’t lead to the reintroduction of gold and silver coinage. Anyone who honestly believes that switching global hegemony from one side to the other is a good thing, then they are retarded. Nothing would get better until global hegemony no longer exists, and the world returns to the way things were before the world wars. Never trust a kike or a slant. And Russia’s idea of “bi-polarity” is just another version of what is already practiced. “Bi” means two, thats exactly how they want it, only 2 similar view points and nothing else.

You will never be a real stacker. You have no wealth, you have no job, you have no income. You are an eternal neet twisted by envy and jealousy into a crude mockery of avatar fagging.

All the “validation” you get is two-faced and half-hearted. Behind your back people mock you. Your parents are disgusted and ashamed of you, your “friends” laugh at your broke ass appearance behind closed doors.

Whores are utterly repulsed by you. Thousands of years of evolution have allowed whores to sniff out beggars with incredible efficiency. Even jannies who do it for free can spot the hopeless stacker. TPMCBB is a dead giveaway. And even if you manage to get a newfag to believe you, he’ll turn tail and bolt the second he sees your pile trace gold sim cards.

You will never be happy. You wrench out a fake smile every single morning and tell yourself it’s going to be ok, but deep inside you feel the depression creeping up like a weed, ready to crush you under the unbearable weight.

Eventually it’ll be too much to bear - you’ll get some scrap copper, aluminum cans from the bin, lie them all on the floor, and start smacking them while screeching REEEEEEEEE! Your parents will find you, heartbroken but relieved that your denial is breaking, no longer have to live with the unbearable shame and disappointment of a delusional avatar fag. They’ll pick you up and tuck you in bed, marked with your name, and every day for the rest of eternity will know that your precious metals dreams ended here. You'll go to sleep and when you wake up, all that will remain of your legacy is a memory of a manchild who never bothered to get on the WAGMI train.

This is your fate. This is what you chose. There is no turning back.

It can be heated by the warmth of human bodies alone. In fact, gas-based heater creates a serious threat of CO2 intoxication, so you need to build an entire closed heating contour, which then raises the question why not just run a diesel generator and heat by much safer and simpler electricity.

Putting aside the "absolutely everything is part of a global conspiracy" theory, we can explain easily why Russia would want to do this. It has a third world economy and a hot proxy war with the USA. It is in severe financial straits. But it has a significant amount of gold and is close to the top of world gold producers. It is very much in Russia's interest to have international gold prices go up. By breaking the western spoof market, it can do just that. And eventually it can join in a gold-backed BRICS trade currency.

China is in a similar situation but for different reasons. China's bubble economy is bursting and its authoritarian government is facing increasing dissent. It is struggling to keep the lid on and is sliding back into Mao-era levels of economic deprivation and socialist mind-control. But taking the people from abject poverty to slightly less abject poverty, as Mao did, was much easier than taking a relatively prosperous people back into abject poverty and making them accept it. But China has substantial gold reserves and is the world's biggest producer. Many problems can be solved by throwing hard money at them. So China as much as Russia would like to see the international price of gold go up. You can expect them to join in this endeavor. And the rest of the BRICS will follow.

This all means at least two things are likely: the price of gold will go up and the USA will fight it tooth and nail. So make sure your gold is not within easy reach of some kind of gold ban.

I devoted an hour polishing up the 257g sterling dish I got Monday for $0.56/ozt ASW, had to use a dremel with buffing wheel to get rid of some recalcitrant black spots and tarnish in the deeper hammer divots but it turned out brilliantly shiny, I love the way the hammer marks catch and bend the light making it particularly eye-catching. Personally, I know that gold is undervalued because the price is set in British paper scam markets where the gold supply is inflated by fictitious scam markets, making physical gold undervalued and IMO the spot price irrelevant. Once the scam markets are delegitimized and people start seeking out real gold the price will go much higher.

The coins aren't generally particularly rare but still worth rather more than melt value, there are online coin dealers based in bigger cities in India that seem to have an endless supply of the coins so they must be good at traveling around the backwater villages buying up the old family hoards.

Whoa - the 2ozt version has a larger diameter?
Germania used to make the more massive rounds just thicker, to a point where you would get cylinders. This is a huge improvement.

Ordered 30x1oz dealer's choice Ag rounds this morning for fondling. Need to find a nice desktop bowl or something so I can just roll my hand in them all day instead of touching my dick.

Yeah I've avoided buying anything larger because of the double stuffed Oreo way they made them. But I like these new ones. Good center price for the collection.

My tastes in silver have me actually opposed to owning any silver round that is not 1oz. Or any novelty silver of any kind outside of an art depiction. I feel like my favorite part of any stack photo is the quantity and not necessarily the designs. Although some variety in the 1oz rounds you own is ok.

Need help finding a fairly priced sterling silver bowl? Can't assist with the dongfondling problem but nice silver should set you straight.

Happy B-day fren, and future-thanks for posting the WAGMI round. I'd love to pop on one but I want to make sure it's the real deal.

Even better if you have an old Ebay account and get the Ebay Bonus Bucks every now and then. At times its 8%, mostly 5%, but Ive seen it as high as 10%. I buy all my company office supplies when its Bonus Bucks time, max of $100 per transaction with a max of $500 per year, but its adds up to free stuff.
>cant use it on bullion
But rolls of Mercury dimes and Morgans and 40% Kennedies are my favorite, especially when free.

My main buying account is from 2005 with 4k feedback and they haven't given me eBay Bucks in a long time, I thought they discontinued the program? They're filthy kikes either way, wish they'd bring it back as I enjoyed mad cheapies when the program was available.

I have no idea. Can Canadians buy from JM Bullion or Provident Metals? If so, then yes.

Gosh retard, let's round the prices
24 and 16, you got 8 premium

16 + 16 + 16 = 48 <- 3 silver ounces
24 + 24 = 48 <- 2 silver coins -> 2 silver ounces

You could buy 3 ounce of raw silver instead of 2 ounce coins with same price.
That's 50% premium, fucking stupid

1.5 or 2% cash back is nice but what card gives that
