And have the sense to pick the companies that offer good premium without actually collapsing you, that's part of the art. While avoiding the big tops like tech at the end of 2021.
Also manage your bankroll, if I'm unsure of the market I keep at least 50% cash so I can keep selling puts on dips. You could also try diversifying sectors but I prefer having cash.
