If the floor was lower I'd consider buying even if there was no liquidity, but with the floor being high it's too scary and seems like a weird risk/reward profile unless the platform grows which should be priority number one. More users, more buyers, more volume, lower risk in buying xcm, simple as.

Just like so many times before, after much hard work, everything was stacked up for Kevin to finally bring Coinmetro out of crisis mode and into a comfortable growth path and... he fucks it at the final hurdle. CM had a number of listed projects doing well, enough investment to keep things ticking over, MARS finally coming online, a rapid acceleration in project listings, and the long-promised exchange improvements starting to arrive ... only to all be overshadowed by this fucking price floor.

Imagine how well Coinmetro would be doing right now reputationally if it wasn't for the fucking price floor. An entire summer of improvements, exchanges blowing up or being proven to be scams all over the place - and all anyone is doing is arguing over the premature decision to pretend XCM is worth 60c.

From now until the end of the world it's just going to be LCX retards pretending to be XCM bagholders bringing negative publicity, and endless dumping onto the sell wall.

Since Oli apparently reads this, here's what you should do: start buying up as much as possible of the XCM sell wall OTC through a third party. Otherwise, you're just going to be handing a massive pay day to the dumping cunts when you finally cave and buy it up (which you will -. and, of course, that will just incentivise further dumping). There you go, I've offered you your super-secret way out. Better hope the people dumping on you to try and fuck your exchange aren't lurking 4chan and tg (they are).

I suspected earlier this year we would probably go below 20k, and this was at around 40k. 17k seems to me like the perfect bottom if you go log and consider may mania the real top which it mostly was in terms of new bagholders entering the scene. November was great, but not really the same and more like a return to normal where whales likely did not profit anywhere near as much as may since they had to prop the market up trying to get a may repeat which is a big cost, but most buyers simply did not return because it was too early.
There's also no guarantee the S&P500 will see an 85% tier 2008 dump over the next years. It may just crab around this level for a while. Just like 2019 I think this is where Bitcoin will also be for a long time, ranging in between 15-30k with nothing ever happening while people pay out of the ass for their leveraged longs and shorts. After all, why shouldn't they just collect fees from low leveragers while rugging high leverages up and down and up and down until the wider market conditions improve? If they pump it now people might just sell and try to buy low on stocks and real estate, that would be bad for them.

If the floor was placed at 30c I'd buy some, sell wall would likely be much smaller, or possibly it would be over 30c. The decision to place it "at valuation" makes little sense when you consider risk/reward of buying at the valuation in a bear market when you can probably buy far under "fair valuation" in other markets. It's also damaging to inviting new people to use the exchange. When they see the XCM valuation chart it's going to scare some people off.
