A "friend" of mine has been using Tornado Cash and now needs help finding a replacement to mix his funds. So far I have been able to identify a handful of them. Please respond if you know of any others he could use.

Railgun- I heard yesterday that it is down but I think they use relayers to mix.

0xMonero- They launched 0xTIP last month and their community is growing fast. The problem with this one is that although it has the potential to replace Tornado Cash, it doesn't have the liquidity needed to mix large amounts of funds yet.

BUCC- I heard that v1 and v2 were exit scams and that v3 just launched and was one too. I don't know if this is true or not but the token is supposed to enable you to store and transfer BUCC privately on ETH.

Spinner.cash is a fully anonymous and private btc transfer service- built on the IC. This fully decentralized and ‘bridgeless’ transfer service uses native btc- nothing wrapped and completely trust less. No third parties. No need to give up your keys

Yes, looking forward to this one but it doesn't work for Ethereum yet.

You're pissing against the wind by trying to be private on a L1 public ledger. It'll ultimately backfire like tornado did.

The mixer is off-chain, so you can't censor a contract like Tornado. Also the team is anonymous.

0xMR is off chain and you can't censor any contracts. Railgun uses relayers, so theoretically they could just keep changing those. BUCC is a contract, and does not need a github to run.

Both centralized scams.

Use this mixer bro it totally isn't centralized. Its NOT a honeypot and it WONT get shoah'd like tornadocash. Trust me bro PLEASE.

what happened to aztec network aka zk.money? haven't heard much from them lately but i always thought that they also launched a privacy layer for ethereum.

I think I remember reading on their Twitter page that they were reconsidering offering privacy on their L2.

What about TC but it's an exchange that swaps for monero

>> No.50907977

I have serious doubts that 0xMR and BUCC are honeypots as 0xMR had no ICO and has no team tokens because they were all mined and BUCC had a token sale but only to their community, not VC. Railgun on the otherhand, I think I recall them getting funding from DCG or another large investment group to the tune of around 7 million dollars - if memory serves correct. The one that took the funding would be the one most likely to be the honeypot. Also the one with the most advertising.

You can do that on any non-KYC exchange now, it just requires more steps and trust in the exchange instead of a contract.

on their website they claim that you can do private transactions within the rollup or to an L1 address. that should work as a mixer in itself.

He can still use tornado cash...hell he can use Tornado on other chains if he wants.

Nothing happened to them, they're released but /biz/ doesn't actually understand any of the tech they throw money into.

Theoretically you could try and figure out how to use the Tornado Cash contract but I heard it involves running a full node and deploying your own front end.

>>50908040
They mentioned something about "in light of the events surrounding Tornado Cash we are preparing a statement explaining things and how Aztec will proceed".

Check out BlockBlend.io. They only support 50 BNB at a time because they say they're focused more on retail investors. But you can transfer without having to connect a wallet.

Just make sure you send at least the minimum amount they display on the confirmation window! Made that mistake once and lost a couple bucks. It's usually 0.1 ETH I think if that's the chain you choose (they support 6 chains now).

>The mixer is off-chain, so you can't censor a contract like Tornado.
Have you been living under a rock this past week? All funds coming from tornado cash are considered tainted. It is easily seen on the blockchain.

>Also the team is anonymous.
From their documents: The use of this technology is based on open-source research made by Zcash team with the help of the Ethereum community. Also, the alleged TC developer got arrested in Amsterdam.
It doesn't look anonymous.

>>50907785
Again, you cannot have privacy on a public ledger. Every transaction is permanently recorded in the blockchain and every coin can be traced to its point of origin. Using those services is dangerous because they can be blacklisted, therefore your funds also.
You sure can transact, but doesn't stop the governments from putting you in jail for doing something they don't like or having tainted funds no one else wants to receive.
It is a losing battle.

I think you missunderstood. 0xMonero's mixer is off-chain, not Tornado cash. Tornado cash team was public and so was its repo, 0xMonero is not public.

I actually heard about this recently but I am going to wait a bit before trying it out.

$white Eth. Dapp is in public beta. Will have multiple dapps that white wash Eth. Team is anon. Low marketcap. Also gives out a weekly eth dividend to holders. From a 3k investment I have made $40 per week in Eth as a dividen payout.
