They’re waiting for the most opportune time to bring it live. Chainlink staking has probably been done for at least a full year by now, but market conditions weren’t right. The chainlink team is in no hurry to release staking. Why would they be? They already won the entire oracle market, they have no competition to worry about. The only thing that matters is that staking rolls out smoothly and free of hacks/loss of user funds
