Nope there is an entire charge that starts at 72 and requires you to slowly sell a percentage of your total value. Starting at 5% and then increasing all the way to 50%

So lets say you've saved your whole life and have $4,000,000 by the time you're 72. You're gonna have to sell $200,000 and lose over half of it to taxes. And this continues until you die to the point that they will demand you sell 50% of it and tax you like a millionaire.

If at any point you don't liquidate your assets a certain year, like if the stock market crashes and you'd rather not take a huge loss, they end up giving you a fine that is equal to 50% of the mount you didn't sell. It's a huge (((((scam)))))

So the market seems to think that the Fed will ease policy.
They are basing this on the recent past of QE, with both previous bumps on this 13 year bull market being solved by QE, however there has never been inflation like this since the 1970s, it's fundamentally a different situation.

Roth ira is always possible along a 401k/trad roth plan. 401k and trad roth are pre tax money, roth ira is post tax. So as long as you have income and below the income limits you can add the 6k i think in the roth ira. Unfortunately, because a lot of farmer's use a lot of different programs depending on everything from farm size to location, there's not a single statistic you can look at for that kind of stuff. (Not like the FCA or USDA really releases that type of info anyways) The closest you can get to that is knock on doors and ask farmer's themselves.

However things like farm equipment sales can give you an idea of what's up if you don't have farmer's you can talk to.

BTW, farmer's I've talked to are more heavily relying on credit this season. But I work with a niche community so who knows what the macro looks like.

Oof dude if you can do software you need to get out asap. If it was literally any other industry id say you can stay there but right now tech of any kind can command massive salaries and comp. Other jobs are pretty good too but for tech you need to get to america. If you can do any kind of software stuff you can like a starting salary of 150k plus 50k of stock ontop. Start sending out resumes and see if they will sponsor you. I kinda doubt it right now since so many are laying off people and doing hiring freezes but often other roles are on a different timeline.

Real talk am I too late for BBBY? Going to WSB it feels like BBBY is going to be the next GME when GME was $7 pre-split. GME hit ATH after the MOOAS. If BBBY even gets remotely close to ATH then I will be able to retire instantly.

Right now I have my life savings of 1.2 million in boomer index funds: ITOT, IEMG, IEFA. Do I just sell everything and go 100% BBBY? I feel like with all the spam on reddit that it's at least going to 200% from here. If I set a hard sell cap at 200% then I just sell everything move back to boomer ETFs and retire. 1.2 million isn't enough to retire but if I get above 3 million then I should be set.

Am I crazy or do I just go with it and 100% into BBBY? Feels like a big risk but might be worth it and I don't see BBBY going down with all the spam about it on reddit.

Why have we still not seen a space company like google did to the internet that this hypothetical space company would do to space travel? I personally think AI and computer technology has reached a plateau in practical application for many years and we will likely see internet decay before an impressive leap in computer technology through a tech company. Will we ever see a space travel company in our lifetimes like google did to grepping the public internet or amazon to ecommerce or is NASA a great filter? The answer is literally SpaceX. Be a contrarian or seethe at Musk all you want but the hard reality is 1) they've sucked up all the talent in the space (kek) and 2) space travel is about an order of magnitude tougher than air travel. Remember how long it took from the Wright Flyer to modern commercial aviation before bitching about "things not being polished enough".

There are some "small" space companies. Fathands skilled SIDU a few weeks ago and they look legit. The female ceo is a great filter because most Virginia won't bother reading her bio once they see she's a blond milf(imo). Also there are many private companies so investing in those can be difficult. Also space is a fucking broad industry and so far its mostly a billionaire hobby apart from government-run ones. Spacex would sadly be the winning bet because musk can swindle both the public and the government. If not its probably going to be some sort of consolidation of small companies but not a SPAC

>Are you sure there is churn? My udnerstnading was Blue Origin has massive churn because Bezos sucks to work for.
They both do. The churn rate is something like 18 months at Blue Origin and 2 years at SpaceX. Partly this is because these companies tend to have rigid vertical structures which makes advancement slow relative to the grind you are pushed through. Where do those employees go? At the now hundreds or so startups in space.
All of them are still going to be spinning their wheels recreating the exact same projects of NASA from 1950s - 1990s because aerospace engineering is the most overly engineered field that probably exists. And eventually, if you are using LOX, you are just going to be recreating the space Shuttle for human astronauts or eking out efficiency gains from a design that is in lineage with the Saturn V (such as the Falcon 9). As long as you are using LOX, you are putting 1 pound of payload for every 8-9 pounds of fuel.
The real game changer would be mass drivers, space catapults, space elevators (not literal elevators), or the like. But again, that is hard, and we are in the peak of another space enthusiasm cycle. And the private sector isn't going to do it much better. Blue Origin and SpaceX are money pits for venture capital so at least its not _directly_ coming from taxpayer funds.

I was reading some satellite news and a lot of the ceos basically said once you do a couple launches you are basically done. There isnt enough constant demand for launches for it yet. Spacex will likely sit around with unused rockets if they cant get more government contracts here pretty soon. And its not like the other companies scooped it all up. Just not enough demand yet.
