I saw Mr. Nazarov at a Smart Con in San Antonio in 2016, and he had nobody meeting him. I walked up to say hi just because he was standing there and I felt bad for him. He talked to me for a while and was nice enough. He told his manager Ari, “let’s get you a signed photo” and his manager pulled out the headshot, he signed it to me with my name, and gave it to me. I was like oh that’s okay... I’m good. But he was so enthusiastic about it so I took it. So we said bye, and when I went to walk away his manager was like “okay, the autograph is $30, do you have cash or card?” I was so taken aback. I was going to bin the damn thing. I paid it because Sergey was standing right there in earshot, still with no line. I kept the picture out of spite and it’s somewhere in my house now. I hate it.
