>manager's praise and areas for improvement are all so fucking tenuously concluded, it's clear the whole process is a sham

God damn, feels so pathetic to be in this position. I haven't even been screwed over yet and I feel so demotivated by the whole thing.

I am a natural low status beta who is looked down upon by everyone in the workplace. I've never been given an above average performance marking at work. I did well at school and university when everything was objective but people naturally look down on me in the real world.

Your manager's manager is gonna look at your whole team's performance and wants to see from your immediate manager that they are helping you
