The goal of crypto currencies was to simplify money transfers and to make them easier.
The more heavy they go at controlling and spying on everyone, and the worse it will become until there won't be a difference with the older shitty banking system.

What made crypto good was the extreme simplification of money transfers without an insane amount of rules and regulations.
If they go down this route then it will create a negative reaction.
There will be new privacy chains developed to make it impossible for them to control anything and development will move away from the collapsing western world and bring a lot of development to the rest of the world which will be more open to it.

It would be better if the crypto space was a bit more mature and could offer ready to use simplified DAOs for government and payment systems.

Now take a look at the different projects in the crypto space and their respective community.
If a community had to take care of society which would it be?

The MEV mafia? BTC maximalists? Shitcoin scammers?
The only sane people in this space who could be given this responsibility are some of the Link marines who held through everything and a few exceptions.

I doubt there was an intent like this behind the initial breadcrumbs, and an attempt to find meaning to it.
But finding people who can wield power and not let it corrupt them is not easy in this collapsing society completely lacking in values.

The possibility is there for some of us to be forced into this responsibility without having asked for it.
