Gas fees (that usually went to miners) should be immediately available to stakers.
So if a staker proposes a block and it's accepted, they get to keep the fees (pre-merge those fees went to miners).
Rewards from staking should be available before 6 months and is being called "skimming".
So if a staker accrued 4 ETH in the past two years of staking, they should expect that to be withdrawable pretty soon after the merge.
Initial deposits of 32 ETH is expected to be 6 months to a year, like already said.
