i went to reddit recently, it's awful. an oppressive hugbox of forced thought compliance. warnings everywhere about "hate speech" and all kinds of good goys complaining about "old white racists" so they can get an upvote. if i ever actually made a reddit account i don't think i'd last one day over there without getting banned. i'm not comfortable with any website where nobody is being a dick to me and i can't say nigger.

i was watching a video on training ai chat bots and they werent having any luck on reddit or facebook or anywhere else until they tried to train their bot on 4chan. thats when they discovered that "adversarial networks" as they call them, are the key to training chatbots that can actually form a coherent conversation. something about the way we're always challenging each other and not just taking everything at face value. the hard part is filtering out the racism and toxicity and hate speech and still having an ai thats half decent. turns out when you bake an ai in a hug box it comes out retarded.
