Absolutely no reason to migrate over and no easy way of doing so without going through KYC exchanges. Watch as crypto becomes regulated and privacy erased just like the tip of the iceberg tornado cash... Soon Spinner. Kneel to the state like a good little goy and no one gets hurt.

If any entity DOES make a concentrated effort to take something off the IC, they can just issue DMCA takedown requests to all boundary nodes and DFINITY will have to comply.

Not to even mention that all node providers have the ability to peak and poke around with the nodes they host. What was Dom's biggest talking point against AWS? hmmm. . .

Not once do your posts come off as sneedy, weird or angry,m. You’re just an anon who cares that much. The jokes you tell are super funny, me and my wife think so, I share them all with her. But I never forget, that your posts are to educate first and foremost, and that you do. The idea of ICP is great, don't get me wrong. But I don't want the technically challenged anons who don't understand the current state of the tech to be losing money. It by all means at its current state doesnt deserve top 10 MC. That's just how it is. I want it to succeed, and it's clear that other entities are afraid of it, but damn there are some problems that NEED to be fixed, and it's unsure if its possible. Investing now is gambling that they can solve HUGE issues
>inb4 all investing is gambling
sure chud, but don't get misled on the odds of this bet.

that being said I'm invested, but anons should still KNOW what the fuck is actually going on. Anything I said, refute it with actual valid sources and I'll accept it, or fuck right off.

Look at Dom's tweets. Look at plug, look at metamask. What type of wallet got hacked on Solana? The hack wasn't because of solana code, it was because of an independent dev coded wallet.

LOL, hoping I'm lazy and don't actually put in the time and effort it would take to back all my claims? Well, your gamble pays off because I'm not going to, but what's great is that anons don't have to trust my words, they hop on dfinity forums or twitter or ICPMN telegram groups and they can see for themselves. I mean.. It is only their money on the line.

You're unironically a normie.

The bear market will never come anon, there's no way for that to happen, the only thing they can do is say "inflation is good!" and just keep printing for the next 2 years as everything goes up (crypto and stonks).

>If any entity DOES make a concentrated effort to take something off the IC, they can just issue DMCA takedown requests to all boundary nodes and DFINITY will have to comply.
This is being worked on. There's a number of solutions proposed. The most popular one seems to be allowing boundary node providers the option to blacklist their nodes from serving canisters using their own internal decision making processes. Meaning that while the canister won't be served from their node, other boundary nodes can still serve it, and depending on what countries they're located in, they might choose not to comply. So you might eventually end up with a situation where illegal/copyright infringing canisters are still accessible to everyone but only being served from boundary nodes located in Russia or whatever. There are other solutions as well that have been proposed. Like most things with ICP it's a work in progress.

>Regulating an open protocol.
The smart contract on tornado cash still exist, who is taking it down? The US, the country that has lost every war since World war 2?

The great thing about non-sovereign open protocols is that they can operate in areas where the US has no authority whatsoever.
There are 7 countries where DMCA are ignored.
https://www.websiteplanet.com/blog/dmca-ignored-countries/

We are now living in a multi-polar world where America's RuleBasedOrder is now effectively ignored. When energy was still pegged to the Dollar, the world was kissing America's ass.
The world under America is falling part, and the international community is siding with the BRICS.

Dom's biggest talking point against AWS was single-point-of-failture through BigTech monopoly on reliance on API's.

Regulation only exist for retail, not for private investors, VC's, Funds.

>My take on the shitcoin casino.
S.E.C will turn a blind eye as usual.

We have seen the S.E.C turning a blind eye to American-centric DeFi But - Let ETH-based-protocols bloat TVL, letting Americans stake / farm 'unregistered securities' in order to earn more 'unregistered securities' and restake those 'unregistered securities' and so on. Bloating the entire TVL of DeFi causing massive liquidity issues within our space.

This is the same S.E.C that told us that ETH isn't a security but we all know that early Silicon Valley VC's and American accredited investors from Silicon Valley paid pennies for ETH during presale.

And we also know that JP morgan funded Eth even before the first block was pre-mined.

(no conspiracy theory, consensys dropped the ball on JP morgan stake on JP Morgan's stake in Infura and Metamask.)
This is the same consensys that is connected to the Ethereum Alliance and in bed with JP Morgan.

Whether people like it or not. Tom Ding from String Labs is the big brain behind Dfinity, which directly ties it to the Ethereum Alliance and the Ethereum-family decentralized cloud.

Dfinity was originally created to enhance ETH decentralized cloud computing, promote compability for Eth Dapp developers, Advance the ethereum Ecosytem.

Fund and advance core ETH technologies.

I have little doubt that Moonman ironically gave /biz/ the next 100x which is Dfinity's ICP protocol, here to enhance ETH2 not to kill like many of the ETH-killers out there like Avax, Sol,

>> No.50853877

Honestly my confidence in dfinity has been diminished as of late. There seem to be a lot of problems with the tech that are either ignored or too little attention given. Also it doesn't help that apparently dfinity hasn't even paid the hackathon winners yet, seems very amateurish. To those of us who invested between 40-50 dollars, I think we need to wait years just to break even. I don't see mass adoption coming and there's very little activity and hype. I admit I'm not that technically inclined but reading through the forum doesn't give much hope
