Back in January of this year, I genuinely thought it would be over before January 2023. Mainly because of the Split Dividend and Ryan personally placing 80$ calls on BBBY. The man seemed to be pretty sure it was going to pop off this year.
After the broker ruggening in Germany and DTCC purposefully filing the Split under the wrong category I don't actually think it's going to happen this year.
Looking at similar Splits done by other companies like Tesla, we're actually moving faster for a squeeze, but I think it's still going to be a long squeeze like TSLAs.
In my honest opinion, DRSing is going to take years, 2-4 years at most, so the most efficient way for this to play out is for the company to ACTUALLY make profit. I know their marketplace is in Beta, but it's not making anywhere near enough money to cover costs. They need to fully launch the Immutable X games, sometime within the next month or two. If the marketplace is successful after it's full release and they get a good line up, then it WILL speed things along.
Something to keep in mind is we've already won, it's just a matter of time.
