My strategy: I invest $3,000 usd principal for ~5 SPY Call/Put Contracts when I believe the market is going to go up/down. I usually enter a position at market open because that is generally when the largest swings take place up or down. I hold the trade, depending on price action, between 15mins - 1hr. I close the position as soon as my trade is at least +20%. Market open is the best time to scalp options because of the volume. I enter a 2nd position mid day, usually 2 hours into trading when I believe the price will go up or down after morning rush hour when algos are trading. Sometimes I can get a 3rd trade in but its usually for pennies during the last hour of trading so its not really worth it.

Market wants to know if core CPI is sticky in particular, expectation is 6.1% YoY previous 5.9%
if core CPI is above 6.1% it is going to be very, very bearish - instant gap down 1%
